The 2024 Liga 4 season is the 6th edition of fourth-tier football in Georgia under its current title. It began on 2 April and will end on 27 November. [1]

Contents

The season consists of 30 rounds with each team playing 28 matches. In late October, the top three teams gained promotion to Liga 3 with four matches still to play. [2] By the same date, two of the three lowest-finishing teams bound for relegation to Regionuli Liga were determined.

It is the only national division where no after-season play-offs are held.

This season was scheduled to start with sixteen participating teams, but Shukura, demoted by the Federation from the 2nd division on 11 January 2024, [3] did not enter the competition.

Three out of fifteen teams participating in the league have been members of the first tier:

Six more spots are occupied by reserve teams of higher league clubs. 

Chikhura, Gagra-2, Mertskhali and Zana made their first appearances in Liga 4 this season.

The 2021 Erovnuli Liga 2 was the 5th season under its current title and the 33rd season of second tier football in Georgia. The season began on 1 March and ended on 3 December.

The 2022 Liga 3 was the sixth season under its current title and the 34th season of third tier football in Georgia. The regular two-round tournament began on 4 April and ended on 1 December with promotion play-offs completed in 10 December.

The 2021 Liga 4 was the third season of fourth-tier football in Georgia under its current title. The season began on 30 March and ended on 22 November.

The 2016 Pirveli Liga was the 28th and last season under the name Pirveli Liga before the division was reorganized into Erovnuli Liga 2. It began on 19 August and ended with relegation play-off finals on 10 December.

The 2020 Liga 4 was the second season of fourth-tier football in Georgia under its current title. The matches were supposed to begin in April, but due to the COVID-19 restrictions it was postponed until 15 August. The season ended on 18 December.

The 2022 Liga 4 was the fourth season of fourth-tier football in Georgia under its current title. The season began on 5 April and ended on 20 November.

The 2023 Liga 4 (Georgia) season was the 5th edition of fourth tier football in Georgia under its current title. It began on 5 April and ended on 20 November.
