The 2024 Taiwan Football Premier League is the eighth season of Taiwan Football Premier League, the top-flight association football competition in Taiwan under its current format. The season began on 14 April 2024 and scheduled to finish on 8 December 2024.

Teams relegated to the second division

Taipei Dragons was the only team relegated after finishing last place in the previous season, ending their one year stay in the top tier. Taipei Dragons was renamed to Taipei Elite SC in 2024.

Teams promoted from the second division

Vikings–PlayOne, the champions of the second division in 2023 earned automatic promotion and was the only team promoted after Inter Taoyuan had lost 2–3 to Ming Chuan University in the promotion/relegation playoffs. Vikings–PlayOne was renamed to Taipei Vikings in 2024.

Promotion/relegation playoffs

Ming Chuan University, finishing 7th in 2023 TPBL season, was required to play in the promotion/relegation playoffs. Land Home NTUS finished 2nd in 2023 second division and was expected to play in the playoffs. However, Inter Taoyuan, finishing 3rd in 2023 second division took over the opportunity due to the Land Home NTUS failed to qualify the CTFA club licensing, which is required for playing in the Taiwan Football Premier League. The 2017 Taiwan Football Premier League (TFPL) was the first season of the Taiwan Football Premier League since it replaced the Intercity Football League following the 2016 season. It was contested by 8 clubs. Taichung City Dragon, who participated in the final Intercity Football League season, were replaced for the inaugural TFPL by Tainan City. Taipower FC finished at the top of the table, but were defeated 1-1 on away goals in a playoff by Tatung FC, the second ranked team, for the title. With that result, Tatung FC earned an automatic berth in the 2018 AFC Cup group stage, while Taipower FC qualified for the playoff round. However, neither side chose to enter the tournament, so 3rd place playoff winners Hang Yuen were granted the AFC Cup berth.

The 2022 T1 League draft was the second edition of the T1 League's annual draft. It was held on July 12, 2022, at Syntrend Creative Park in Taipei City.
