The 2024 K League 1, also known as the Hana 1Q K League 1 for sponsorship reasons, is the ongoing 42nd season of the top division of professional football in South Korea, and the twelfth season of the K League 1. Ulsan HD are the defending champions. [1]
Gimcheon Sangmu were promoted from the 2023 K League 2 after a one year absence from the top flight. Suwon Samsung Bluewings were relegated to 2024 K League 2 in the club's first absence from the top flight of Korean football. [2]

Gimcheon Sangmu FC is a South Korean professional football club based in Gimcheon that competes in the K League 1, the top tier of South Korean football. Sangmu is the sports division of the Republic of Korea Armed Forces.
Yeom Ki-hun is a South Korean football manager and former player. He is the current manager of Suwon Samsung Bluewings.
The 2009 K League was the 27th season of the K League. It was held from 7 March to 6 December 2009, and a total of 15 teams contested, including newly formed Gangwon FC.
The 2010 K League, officially known as Sonata K-League 2010, was the 28th season of the K League. It was sponsored by Hyundai Motor Company, and was held from 27 February to 5 December 2010.
The 2011 season is Daegu FC's 9th season in South Korean K-League. It will be new kit suppliers Hummel, after two seasons with Joma.
The 2012 K League, officially known as Hyundai Oilbank K-League 2012, was the 30th season of the K League. It was sponsored by Hyundai Oilbank. Since this season, the K League Championship and the Korean League Cup were abolished, and K League introduced the "split system", inspired by Scottish Premier League. After all 16 clubs played 30 matches each under the home and away system, they were split into the group of top eight and the group of bottom eight, playing with each other in a group again.

The South Korean professional football league, K League, was split into two divisions since this year, and the top division was named the "K League Classic". Seoul E-Land FC is a South Korean professional football club based in Seoul that competes in K League 2, the second tier of South Korean football. The club was founded in 2014 and is owned by the E-Land Group.

Ansan Greeners FC is a South Korean professional football club based in Ansan that competes in the K League 2, the second tier of South Korean football. Founded in 2017, they play their home matches at Ansan Wa~ Stadium.
The 2020 K League 2 was the eighth season of the K League 2, the second-tier South Korean professional football league. The champions and the winners of the promotion play-offs could be promoted to the K League 1. The second, third and fourth-placed teams qualified for the promotion play-offs.

The 2022 K League 2 was the tenth season of the K League 2, the second-tier South Korean professional football league. The champions and the winners of the promotion play-offs could be promoted to the K League 1.
The 2022 season was Suwon Samsung Bluewings's 27th season in the K League 1 in South Korea. They competed in the 2022 K League 1 and the FA Cup.
The 2022 season was FC Seoul's 39th in the K League 1. For the 3rd consecutive season, FC Seoul wasn't able to end the K League 1 at the Championship Round, leaving them a K League 1 Relegation Round spot. They finished in 9th place, escaping relegation play-offs at their last match, after winning 2–0 past Suwon FC. They didn't participated —or qualified to participate—in the 2022 AFC Champions League. Their final chance of reaching the 2023–24 AFC Champions League was via the 2022 Korean FA Cup, where they played a two-legged final against Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors, losing on aggregate score. Overall, no titles were won by FC Seoul in the season.
The 2023 K League 1, also known as the Hana 1Q K League 1 for sponsorship reasons, was the 41st season of the top division of professional football in South Korea, and the eleventh season of the K League 1. Defending champions Ulsan Hyundai successfully defended their title.
The 2023 K League 2, also known as the Hana 1Q K League 2 for sponsorship reasons, was the 11th season of the K League 2, the second-highest division in South Korean football league system.
The 2024 Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors season is their 31st season in existence, and the 30th consecutive season in the K League 1. In addition to the league, the club will compete in the 2024 Korean FA Cup and in the 2024–25 AFC Champions League 2.
