The 2025 Sam Houston Bearkats football team represents Sam Houston State University in Conference USA (CUSA) during the 2025 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Bearkats are led by first-year head coach Phil Longo. [1] Due to renovations at Bowers Stadium during the 2025 season, the team will play its home games at Shell Energy Stadium located in Houston, Texas. [2]
