The 2025 Women's World Draughts Championship at the international draughts will take place from September 27 to October 5, 2025, in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago under the auspices International Draughts Federation FMJD. The tournament will be played as 9 rounds at swiss system with 20 players. [1] The winning prize for the tournament is 20,000 euros.
The games will be played in the official FMJD time rate 90 minutes for the first 45 moves and 30 minutes for the rest of the game, followed by 30 min for the rest of the game with an addition of 30 seconds starting from 46th move. Conforming to the FMJD regulations, players not allowed to agree on a draw before they both made 40 moves. If they do so nevertheless, the referee is obliged to decide on a 0-point for each player.
The final classification based on the total points obtained. If two or more players have same total points to define the places the Solkoff coefficient will be applied.
