The 2025 World Rugby U20 Championship will be the 15th edition of the premier age-grade (World Rugby Under-20 Championship) rugby union competition. It is set to take place in Italy. Italy have hosted the tournament twice before, in 2011 and 2015. Italy were also confirmed to host the 2020 edition, but the tournament was cancelled due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. The championship features 12 teams. 11 of those are teams ranked 1-11 in the previous championship [1] , with the twelfth being 2024 World rugby U20 Trophy winners, Scotland. [2] It will be held from 29 June to 19 July in the Italian cities of Viadana, Calvisano, Verona and Rovigo. [3]

England are defending champions, after defeating France 21-13 in the 2024 final.
