It was later re-recorded in 1998 by Jermaine Dupri and Mariah Carey, from Dupri's debut album Life in 1472 (1998), and from Carey's first compilation album #1's (1998).

"Fuck Wit Dre Day ", or as a single titled "Dre Day", is a rap song by Los Angeles record producer and rapper Dr. Dre, featuring rapper Snoop Doggy Dogg, and released in May 1993 as the second single from Dre's debut solo album, The Chronic. "Dre Day" was a diss track targeting mainly Dre's former groupmate Eazy-E, who led their onetime rap group N.W.A and who, along with N.W.A's manager Jerry Heller, owned N.W.A's record label, Ruthless Records. In "Dre Day" and in its music video, which accuse Eazy of cheating N.W.A's artists, Dre and Snoop degrade and menace him. Also included are disses retorting earlier disses on songs by Miami rapper Luke Campbell, by New York rapper Tim Dog, and by onetime N.W.A. member Ice Cube, although Dre, while still an N.W.A member, had helped diss Cube first. After "Dre Day," a number of further diss records were exchanged.

Exceeder had originally been an instrumental and had received a vinyl-only release in the UK in 2006. The new version of the track, "Perfect (Exceeder)", was a mashup with American rapper Princess Superstar's song "Perfect" and reached number 3 on the national British chart in January 2007. The track was a big hit in many countries worldwide. He also had chart success in 2011 with his song "Runaway", which was a modern version of "Runaway" by Eruption, and "Boadicea", featuring Róisín Murphy, in 2016 with "Fashion Killa", and with many club releases since. Mason is the owner of the record label Animal Language.

Kraak & Smaak is a musical production trio from the town of Leiden, Netherlands, consisting of Oscar de Jong, Mark Kneppers and Wim Plug. The three began recording in 2003. Sparro released his third extended play, Pink Cloud, as a free download to promote his then upcoming second album before a number of release push-backs. He released Quantum Physical, Vol. 1 independently on 1 October 2014. On 16 October 2015 Sparro released the second volume of Quantum Physical with Intuit Records.

Return to Paradise is Australian singer-songwriter and producer Sam Sparro's second album. It was released on 1 June 2012. The album entered the Australian Albums Chart, peaking at number 41. In Belgium the album peaked at number 35 on the Belgian (Flanders) Albums Chart, and number 80 in the Netherlands on the Dutch Albums Chart. The album had less success in the United Kingdom, however, failing to chart in the top 200 or to produce any charting singles.
Ministry of Sound Sessions Five is an electro house, dance music compilation album. It is the fifth installment of the Australian Ministry of Sound "sessions" series which started in 2004. There are 42 tracks across the two discs mixed by The Potbelleez and Goodwill. The album is the first appearance for The Potbelleez in the Sessions series and the second for Goodwill. Sessions Five finished 2008 in the number 4 position in the ARIA 2008 End Of Year Top 50 Dance Albums Charts and in position 7 of the ARIA Top 50 Compilations Chart for 2008.

The song was originally produced by Rexha and TMS and re-produced by Michael Keenan, with additional production by Christoph Andersson and G-Eazy. It was formerly both artists' highest-peaking single, until Rexha's song "Meant to Be" peaked at number two on the US Billboard Hot 100, and G-Eazy's song "No Limit" peaked at number four. It is also featured in the NBA 2K17 soundtrack.
