Aaltje Terpstra (born 1916 or 1917 [1] ) was a Dutch kortebaan speed skater from Siegerswoude, who was active in the late 1940s and early 1950s.
She won her first prizes in the 1940s, among others in December 1948 in Drachten ahead of Dirkje Kiers. [2] Her best winter was the one of 1950–51, in which she won almost all competitions in Drenthe and Groningen. [3] [4] [5] [6] [7] [8] [9] [10] [11] [12]
She was also a korfball player. She played for VKC and was on the same team as her brother and Coba Hoekstra. [13] [14]
Terpstra married baker Albert Heidestra on 27 May 1943 when she was 26 years old. [1]
Heracles Almelo is a Dutch professional football club based in Almelo, founded in 1903. The club has won the Dutch national title twice, in 1927 and 1941. Eurosonic Noorderslag is an annual four-day music showcase festival and conference held in January in Groningen, Netherlands. The first three days of the festival (Eurosonic) feature artists from all over Europe, the last day of the festival (Noorderslag) features only Dutch artists. Willem Paul "Wim" van Duyl was a sailor from the Netherlands. He competed in the Dragon class at the 1948, 1952, 1960 and 1964 Olympics and finished in 8th, 6th, 13th and 13th place, respectively. He missed the 1956 Games due to their boycott by the Netherlands.

Ferdinand "Fred" Helmuth Imhoff is a sailor from the Netherlands, who represented his country at the 1972 Summer Olympics in Kiel, Germany as helmsman in the Flying Dutchman Brave Henderik IV (H-230). With crew Simon Korver they took the 10th place. Imhoff was the substitute for the Dragon during the 1968 Olympics.

Anje Heersema also written as Annie Heersema was a Dutch kortebaan speed skater from Hoogkerk, Groningen who was active in the 1930s and 1940s. She also rode competitions in Friesland, what only did one of the best riders. At the Dutch National Kortebaan Speed Skating Championships she finished second in 1938 behind Hennie Sietsema. Heersema became champion of Groningen.
