Acuclavella is a genus of thorn harvestmen in the family Ischyropsalididae, found in the Pacific Northwest. There are about seven described species in Acuclavella. [1] [2] [3] [4]
Acuclavella was formerly a member of the family Ceratolasmatidae, but was moved to Ischyropsalididae, along with Ceratolasmatidae which became the subfamily Ceratolasmatinae. [4]
These seven species belong to the genus Acuclavella:
Dyspnoi is a suborder of harvestmen, currently comprising 43 extant genera and 356 extant species, although more species are expected to be described in the future. The eight families are currently grouped into three superfamilies: the Acropsopilionoidea, Ischyropsalidioidea, and Troguloidea.
Nipponopsalididae is a family of harvestmen with three described species in one genus, Nipponopsalis, which is found in East Asia.
Ischyropsalididae is a family of harvestmen with 31 described species in 3 genera, found in Europe and North America.
The Dicranolasmatidae are a family of harvestmen with 16 described species in a single genus, Dicranolasma.
The Ceratolasmatidae are a family of harvestmen with eleven described species.
Harvestmen (Opiliones) are an order of arachnids often confused with spiders, though the two orders are not closely related. Research on harvestman phylogeny is in a state of flux. While some families are clearly monophyletic, that is share a common ancestor, others are not, and the relationships between families are often not well understood.
Travunioidea is a superfamily of armoured harvestmen in the order Opiliones. There are 4 families and more than 70 described species in Travunioidea.
Ortholasma pictipes is a species of harvestman in the family Nemastomatidae. It is found in North America.
Ortholasma is a genus of harvestmen in the family Nemastomatidae. There are about 13 described species in Ortholasma.
Paranonychus is a genus of harvestman in the family Paranonychidae. There are at least three described species in Paranonychus.
Erebomaster is a genus of armoured harvestmen in the family Travuniidae. There are at least three described species in Erebomaster.
Ortholasma colossus is a species of harvestman in the family Nemastomatidae. It is found in North America.
Ortholasma rugosum is a species of harvestman in the family Nemastomatidae. It is found in North America.
Hesperonemastoma modestum is a species of harvestman in the family Taracidae. It is found in North America.
Hesperonemastoma is a genus of harvestmen in the family Taracidae. There are about five described species in Hesperonemastoma.
Ceratolasma is a genus of harvestmen in the family Ischyropsalididae, found in the Pacific Northwest. There is one described species in Ceratolasma, C. tricantha.
Dendrolasma mirabile is a species of harvestman in the family Nemastomatidae. It is found in North America.
Dendrolasma is a genus of harvestmen in the family Nemastomatidae. There are about five described species in Dendrolasma.
Ischyropsalis is a genus of harvestmen in the family Ischyropsalididae, found in Europe. There are more than 20 described species in Ischyropsalis.
