Adams County School District 14 (a.k.a. Adams 14) is a school district headquartered in Commerce City, Colorado.

Beginning in 2010 the district began experiencing issues with its accreditation. [2]
In 2018 the State of Colorado requested the district to work with MGT Consulting LLC, an outside management company. [3] The outside management arrangement began in June 2019. [4]
In 2022 the district stopped using the company and asked for a new one. [3] That year, the State of Colorado began a reorganization process of the district. [2] The district opposed the move. [5]
In 2024 the enrollment was over 5,000. The State of Colorado organized a review panel to examine the district's performance. In 2024 the panel stated that the district had "early indicators of progress", according to its report, but that more needed to be done. [6]

Monument is a home rule town situated at the base of the Rampart Range in El Paso County, Colorado, United States. Monument is one of the three communities that make up the Tri-Lakes area, along with Palmer Lake and Woodmoor. A career public school teacher, Peniston was first elected as a Democrat in 2006 to the Colorado House of Representatives. She represented House District 35, which encompasses most of Westminster, Colorado and portions of Arvada. Term limited, she did not seek re-election in 2014.

The 2023 Denver mayoral election was held on April 4, 2023 to elect the mayor of Denver, Colorado, with a runoff held on June 6. The election was officially nonpartisan and was held concurrently with elections for the Denver City Council, as well as city auditor and city clerk and recorder. Incumbent Democratic mayor Michael Hancock was term-limited and could not seek a fourth term in office. A historic field of seventeen candidates filed to run in the race to succeed Hancock.
