The Adidas Argentum is a family and brand of association football balls. Used as official match balls of Argentine football championship, the Argentum balls, in order to distinguish them in their construction, have had the year of adoption in their names.
Before the adoption of the brand, as official match balls of the Argentine football championships were used variants of Adidas Tango, [1] of Adidas Roteiro, [2] of Adidas Teamgeist [3] [4] and Terrapass, [5] of Adidas SpeedCell [6] and of Adidas Tango 12. [7] However, the first real brand created for AFA was Adidas Tafugo. [8] [9]
From 2014 to 2017 the line of Argentum balls adopted the technology developed with Adidas Brazuca. Adidas Argentum, used for 2014 Argentine Primera División, had the same template of Adidas Brazuca, but with a bluish coloration. [10] [11] A silver variant, Argentum Derby, was used in the Superclásicos of the same season. [12] [13] Adidas Argentum 2015, used for 2015 Argentine Primera División, showed a bluish and black template, with the same shape of Adidas Conext 15 balls. [14] [15] Adidas Argentum 2016, used for 2016 Argentine Primera División, showed again a bluish decoration, but it adopted the same template as the balls that replaced the line started with Brazuca, which was first used for Adidas Beau Jeu. [16] [17] Adidas Argentum 2017, used for 2016–17 Argentine Primera División and 2017–18 Argentine Superliga, adopted the same template as the balls that replaced the line of Adidas Conext 15, which was first used for Adidas Krasava. Between 2018 and 2021 the line of Argentum balls adopted the same technology of Adidas Telstar 18. Adidas presented as official match ball of 2018–19 Argentine Superliga Adidas Argentum 2018, that showed pinkish lozenges and a sun-inspired yellow drawing. [22] [23] [24] For 2019–20 Argentine Superliga was used Adidas Argentum 2019, that was decorated with a bluish variant of Adidas Conext 19 pattern. [25] [26] Adidas Argentum 2021, the official match ball of 2021 Argentine Primera División, was decorated with a colorful variant of Adidas Uniforia and Adidas Tsubasa pattern. [27] [28] [29] Another variant of the same pattern was used for the decoration of Adidas Argentum 2022, the official match ball of 2022 Argentine Primera División. [30] [31]
Since 2022 the balls adopted the SpeedShell technology developed for Adidas Al Rihla and its variants. The official match ball of 2022 Argentine Primera División was Adidas Argentum Gotán, that was decorated with a purple triadic pattern, that paid partially omage to Adidas Tango. [32] [33] Adidas announced as official match ball 2023 Argentine Primera División and 2024 Argentine Primera División Adidas Argentum 1893. [34] [35]

The Adidas Finale is a brand of football made by Adidas. It is the current official football of the UEFA Champions League and Women's Champions League; after Adidas took over the contract of official supplier from Nike in 2000. The internal and external design of the ball changes reflecting improvements to football technologies taken from other Adidas-produced footballs. The external design is the "Starball" based on the stars of the UEFA Champions League and Women's Champions League logo. Each year's ball keeps the branding name of Adidas Finale, excepting suffixes to designate the year.
Adidas Tricolore was the official match ball of 1998 FIFA World Cup in France. The Tricolore was officially unveiled in December 1997, being the first colorized ball used in a FIFA World Cup.
The Adidas Tango is a family and brand of association football balls originally introduced as the "Tango Durlast" in 1978, specifically for the 1978 FIFA World Cup in Argentina. Variations of the design had been produced for various competitions including the FIFA World Cup, the UEFA European Championship, the South American Football Championship, and the football competition of the Summer Olympics. The Tango balls have had different names applied to them to distinguish them in their construction, the competitions they have been used for, and even if they are official match balls or replica balls.
The Adidas Tango 12 was the official match ball of the UEFA Euro 2012, with variants being used for the 2012 Summer Olympics. The ball is named after the original and successful Adidas Tango family of footballs from the late 1970s, but the construction of the Tango 12 is completely different. Variations of the ball have been used in other contemporary competitions including the Africa Cup of Nations and the Summer Olympics – Adidas has not categorised these football as the "Adidas Tango 12" family, however they are listed here due to their similar design.

The Adidas Torfabrik is a family and brand of association football balls. Used as official match balls of Bundesliga between 2010 and 2018, the Torfabrik balls, in order to distinguish them in their construction, have had the year of adoption in their names.
The Adidas Beau Jeu is one of the official match balls of the UEFA Euro 2016 tournament. It was used for the group stage of the tournament, after which it was replaced by the "Adidas Fracas" for the knockout stage. The French phrase "Beau Jeu" translates to "Beautiful Game" or "Beautiful Play".
The Adidas Telstar 18 was the official match ball of the 2018 FIFA World Cup, which was held in the Russian Federation. It was designed by the company Adidas, a FIFA Partner and FIFA World Cup official match ball supplier since 1970, and based on the concept of the first Adidas's World Cup match ball. The manufacturer of the ball was Forward Sports, a sports equipment supplier based in Sialkot, Pakistan.
The Superliga Argentina de Fútbol, was an Argentine sports association responsible for administering the main professional league of Argentine football, the Primera División, between 2017 and 2020. The Superliga was contractually bound to the Argentine Football Association, although it operated as an autonomous body and had its own statute.

It was the official match ball of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar and has also been used as the official match ball for the Saudi Professional League and Qatar Stars League for the 2022-23 season as well as the men's Olympic football, beginning the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. The ball contains a suspended inertial measurement unit inside its bladder that supplies the video assistant referee with instantaneous highly detailed ball movement data. The ball was designed for sustainability, being the first FIFA World Cup official match ball to be produced with environmentally-friendly inks and adhesives.
The Adidas Conext is a family and brand of association football balls. The Conext balls have had different numbers in their names applied to them to distinguish them in their construction. The balls had been produced for various competitions including the FIFA Women's World Cup, the football competition of the Summer Olympic Games, the UEFA Super Cup, the FIFA Club World Cup, and various club national competitions.
