Virender Sehwag is a former Indian cricketer who represented India from 1999 to 2013. Widely regarded as one of the most destructive openers and one of the greatest batsman of his era,he played for Delhi Capitals in IPL and Delhi and Haryana in Indian domestic cricket. He played his first One Day International in 1999 and joined the Indian Test side in 2001. During the 2002 ICC Champions Trophy,Sehwag was the highest run scorer with 271 runs. In 2023,he was inducted into ICC Cricket Hall of Fame.
Joseph Edward Root,is an English international cricketer,who plays for the English cricket team and formerly captained the Test team. He also represents Yorkshire in English domestic cricket. Root is currently the leading run-scorer among all active batsmen and the tenth highest run-scorer of all time in Test cricket. Root is considered to be one of the greatest batsmen of his era and one of the greatest batsmen England has ever produced. He was part of the England team that won the 2019 Cricket World Cup where he top scored for England. He is also England's leading run scorer in the ICC World Cup and the only English player to score over 1000 runs.
The West Indies cricket team toured England in August and September 2017 to play three Test matches competing for the Wisden Trophy,one Twenty20 International (T20I) and five One Day Internationals (ODIs).
