Agathomerus is a genus of beetles in the family Megalopodidae, containing the following species: [1] [2]
The beetle subfamily Megalopodinae is the largest group within the family Megalopodidae. Species in the subfamily are mostly tropical in distribution, and their larvae typically bore inside of plant stems.
Pterostichinae is a subfamily of ground beetles. It belongs to the advanced harpaline assemblage, and if these are circumscribed sensu lato as a single subfamily, Pterostichinae are downranked to a tribe Pterostichini. However, as the former Pterostichitae supertribe of the Harpalinae as loosely circumscribed does seem to constitute a lineage rather distinct from Harpalus, its core group is here considered to be the present subfamily and the Harpalinae are defined more narrowly.
Bothromegalopus is a genus of beetles in the family Megalopodidae, containing the following species:
Mastostethus is a genus of beetles in the family Megalopodidae, containing the following species:
Megalopus is a genus of beetles in the family Megalopodidae, containing the following species:
Poecilomorpha is a genus of beetles in the family Megalopodidae, containing the following species:
Temnaspis is a genus of beetles in the family Megalopodidae, containing the following species:
Stizocera is a genus of beetles in the family Cerambycidae, containing the following species:
Epicauta is a genus of beetles in the blister beetle family, Meloidae. The genus was first scientifically described in 1834 by Pierre François Marie Auguste Dejean. Epicauta is distributed nearly worldwide, with species native to all continents except Australia and Antarctica. Surveys have found the genus to be particularly diverse in northern Arizona in the United States. Few species occur in the Arctic, with none farther north than the southern Northwest Territory of Canada.
Saperdini is a tribe of longhorn beetles of the subfamily Lamiinae.
Chalepini is a tribe of leaf beetles in the family Chrysomelidae. There are at least 50 genera and 830 described species in Chalepini.
Megascelis is a genus of leaf beetles in the family Eumolpinae. It is known from both North and South America. There are around 140 described species in Megascelis.
Chalepus is a genus of tortoise beetles and hispines in the family Chrysomelidae. There are more than 90 described species in Chalepus.
