Visby is an urban area in Sweden and the seat of Gotland Municipality in Gotland County on the island of Gotland with 24,330 inhabitants as of 2017. Visby is also the episcopal see for the Diocese of Visby. The Hanseatic city of Visby is arguably the best-preserved medieval city in Scandinavia, and, since 1995, it has been on the UNESCO World Heritage Site list. Among the most notable historical remains are the 3.4 km (2.1 mi) long town wall that encircles the town center, and a number of church ruins. The decline as a Hanseatic city in the Late Middle Ages was the cause for many stone houses being preserved in their original medieval style.

In spite of the small size due to its narrow width, the driving distance between the furthermost points of the populated islands is about 170 kilometres (110 mi).

The Gotland Regiment is a Swedish Army armoured regiment which has been active in various forms between 1963–1994 and 2000–2005, when it was disbanded. The regiment was re-established on 1 January 2018. The regiment is based in Visby as part of the Gotland Garrison.

The actual air operator of all of their flights however was Braathens Regional. In March 2016, Sverigeflyg and Malmö Aviation merged into the new BRA Braathens Regional Airlines.

Skyline was a Swedish charter airline which operated from 1971 to 1978. It had a fleet of Vickers Viscount aircraft, operating between one and three at any given time and a total of five aircraft. Based in Malmö, it initially flew out of Malmö Bulltofta Airport. The airport closed in 1972 and Skyline moved to Malmö Sturup Airport.
BRA Sverige AB, trading as Braathens Regional Airlines, often shortended to BRA(Swedish for "Good"), is a Swedish virtual airline headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, which operates wet lease flights, primarily for Scandinavian Airlines. Between 2016 and 2024, BRA operated its own route network with its main operational base at Stockholm Bromma Airport.
Sälen/Scandinavian Mountains Airport, also referred to as Sälen Trysil Airport, and marketed as Scandinavian Mountains Airport, is an international airport in the Scandinavian Mountains, in the municipality of Malung-Sälen in Dalarna, Sweden. Close to the Norwegian border, it was constructed on the site of an existing small sports airfield.

The SL C30 is a type of subway train used in the Stockholm metro, Sweden. The first set of C30 carriages was inaugurated in 2020 on the Red line, and subsequently replaced all the older rolling stock dating back to the 1970s and 1980s. Since then, 116 sets were delivered to Stockholm by Bombardier Transportation and subsequently by Alstom. A set consists of four carriages which are attached by gangways, in contrast to most previously delivered trains which consist of individual carriages, and which can be connected to other carriages.
