Alang-e Sofla (Persian : النگ سفلي‎, also Romanized as Alang-e Soflá; also known as Alang-e ‘Alī Beyg),^[1] meaning "Lower Alang", is a village in Pasakuh Rural District, Zavin District, Kalat County, Razavi Khorasan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 40, in 10 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Pasakuh Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in Zavin District, Kalat County, Razavi Khorasan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 3,647, in 855 families. The rural district has 23 villages.

Zavin District is a district (bakhsh) in Kalat County, Razavi Khorasan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 16,632, in 3,859 families. The District has one city: Shahr-e Zow. The District has two rural districts (dehestan): Pasakuh Rural District and Zavin Rural District.
