Qaleh Zu (Persian : قله زو‎, also Romanized as Qolleh Zū, Qollehzow, Qollahzow; also known as Qal‘eh Zū and Qal’eh Zow)^[1] is a village in Kabud Gonbad Rural District, in the Central District of Kalat County, Razavi Khorasan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 1,156, in 302 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is a pluricentric language primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Kabud Gonbad Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in the Central District of Kalat County, Razavi Khorasan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 10,389, in 2,541 families. The rural district has 21 villages.
