Football Klub Dinamo Tirana, commonly referred to as Dinamo Tirana and colloquially known as Dinamo, is an Albanian professional football club based in Tirana. They play in the Kategoria Superiore, the first tier of Albanian football, in the 2023–24 season. Founded in 1950 during the communist regime, the club was historically affiliated to the Interior Ministry and having won 18 National Championships, it is considered to be the second most decorated club after local rivals KF Tirana.

Radio Televizioni Shqiptar is the national public broadcasting company of Albania. Founded in 1938, it operates several radio and television channels, over a domestic transmitter network as well as satellite. The international television service via satellite RTSH Sat was launched in 1993 and is aimed at Albanian-speaking communities in Kosovo, Serbia, North Macedonia, Montenegro, and northern Greece, plus the Albanian diaspora in the rest of Europe. RTSH is funded by a combination of commercial advertising, an annual licence fee of US$10.00 and grant-in-aid from the Albanian government.

One of the latter, 1970's Një lindje e vështirë, is the first novel by a woman to have been published in Albania. Elvana Gjata is an Albanian singer, songwriter and entrepreneur. Born and raised in Tirana, she has been referred to as a "Diva of Albanian music". She rose to recognition in Albania and other Albanian-speaking territories in the Balkans following the release of her two studio albums, Mamës (2007) and Afër dhe larg (2011). The singer saw further success through many acclaimed singles, as well as her extended plays 3 (2018) and Çelu (2021), and has achieved multiple number one singles in the Albanian singles chart. Gjata has also received numerous awards and accolades, including two Balkan Music Awards, a Festivali i Këngës Award, four Kënga Magjike Awards and a Top Fest Award.

The 2013–14 Kategoria Superiore was the 75th official season of top-tier football in Albania and the sixteenth season under the name Kategoria superiore. The season began on 31 August 2013 and ended on 10 May 2014.

Saimir Dauti is a former Albanian football player and coach who spent his entire career at Dinamo Tirana and even managed the side in the late 70s and early 80s.

Fatmir Frashëri was an Albanian football player who played for 17 Nëntori Tirana, Partizani and the Albania national team.

Skifter Këlliçi, is an Albanian fiction writer, screenwriter, sports journalist, and radio & TV personality. He started the first radio program that broadcast live sports events in 1958 on Radio Televizioni Shqiptar, the Rubrika Sportive, a show that continues to this day, and later did the same on the Albanian television. He has been a successful screenwriter with movies such as Pas gjurmëve, winner of the international Giffoni Film Festival, Italy, in 1979.

The 2017 Albanian Cup final was a football match played on 31 May 2017 to decide the winner of the 2016–17 Albanian Cup, the 65th edition of Albania's primary football cup.

In the 2015–16 season, Partizani Tirana competed in the Kategoria Superiore for the third consecutive season. The club finished second at the end of the season, which was their best result since 2008.

The 2022–23 season was Tirana's 93rd season in their history of the Albanian Superliga and came in as the defending champions. Along with the Superliga, the club was also participated in the Albanian Supercup, Albanian Cup, and the Champions League qualifying stage. The season began in August 2022 and ended in May 2023.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Miss Grand Albania</span> National beauty pageant in Albania

Miss Grand Albania is an Albanian female beauty pageant founded in 2014 by a Pristina-based event organizer chaired by Sherif Pacolli, Lens Production. In 2018, the competition license was later transferred to the modeling agency managed by Aleks Tanushi, Aleks Fashion Events (A.F.E.), and its headquarters was also relocated to Tirana. The pageant winner represents the country at its international parent contest, Miss Grand International.
