Alberto Rossel Contreras (born January 26, 1975) is a Peruvian former professional boxer who competed from 1998 to 2015.
He unsuccessfully challenged for the WBA super flyweight title in 2010 against Hugo Cázares. [1] He would drop down to light-flyweight and win the WBA interim world title in 2012. He would defend the title four times before being named full champion after reigning titleholder Kazuto Ioka moved up to flyweight. [2] He would lose the title to Japanese contender Ryoichi Taguchi. [3]

The World Boxing Association (WBA), formerly known as the National Boxing Association (NBA), is the oldest and one of four major organizations which sanction professional boxing bouts, alongside the World Boxing Council (WBC), International Boxing Federation (IBF) and World Boxing Organization (WBO). The WBA awards its world championship title at the professional level. Founded in the United States in 1921 by 13 state representatives as the NBA, in 1962 it changed its name in recognition of boxing's growing popularity worldwide and began to gain other nations as members.
Hilario Zapata is a Panamanian former professional boxer who competed from 1977 to 1993. He is a world champion in two weight classes, having held the WBC light flyweight title twice between 1980 and 1983 and the WBA flyweight title from 1985 to 1987.
Iván Calderón Marrero is a Puerto Rican former professional boxer who competed from 2001 to 2012. He is a two-weight world champion, having held the WBO mini flyweight title from 2003 to 2007, and the WBO, Ring magazine, and lineal light flyweight titles from 2007 to 2010.
