Aleec Harris (born October 31, 1990) is an American track and field hurdler.

Amateur career

From Atlanta, Georgia, Harris was a Georgia state champion in high school. [1]

Harris competed for the USC Trojans and at Barton Community College. At Barton Community College he was a NJCAA champion in the 110 meter hurdles. [2]

At the 2014 NCAA Division I Indoor Track and Field Championships he finished 5th in the 60 meter hurdles. [3]

At the 2014 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships he was runner-up in the 110 meter hurdles in a photo finish. [4]

National and international career

At the 2014 USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships Harris finished fourth in the 110 meter hurdles. [5]

Harris won a senior national championship in the 60 meter hurdles at the 2015 USA Indoor Track and Field Championships. [6]

At the 2017 USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships Harris finished first in the 110 meter hurdles, beating Aries Merritt and Devon Allen. [7] While normally the top three runners qualify for the world championships, the event winner (David Oliver) earned a bye to the world championships by virtue of being the defending world champion. Therefore, Harris earned the final spot in his event to the 2015 World Championships in Athletics. [8]

Randolph Duane Ross is an American collegiate track and field coach, and former athlete, specializing in the 110 meters hurdles. He is currently the Director of Track and Field programs for the University of Tennessee and is best known for winning the bronze medal at the 1999 World Championships in Athletics and representing the United States at the 2004 Athens Olympics. Ross also won the 1995 NCAA championship in the 110-meter hurdles, and as a 7-time All-American and 5 Time ACC champion is Clemson University's most decorated male hurdler.

He was the 2003 NCAA champion in the event and won four hurdles titles in the Pacific-10 Conference. He was the bronze medalist at the 2008 IAAF World Athletics Final and was the runner-up at the 2010 USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships. His personal best time of 13.02 seconds, set in 2007 at the Reebok Grand Prix, ranks him within the top twenty fastest of all time in the event.

Jeffrey Issack Porter is an American track and field athlete who competes in the 110-meter hurdles. He has a personal best of 13.08 seconds for the event. He gained a spot on the American Olympic team by coming third at the 2012 United States Olympic Trials. He repeated his third place at the 2016 United States Olympic Trials to make his second Olympic team. On June 25, 2017, he announced his retirement from track and field.

These two events are separate from the NCAA Division I Men's Indoor Track and Field Championships and NCAA Division I Women's Indoor Track and Field Championships held during the winter.

Dalilah Muhammad is an American track and field athlete who specializes in the 400 meters hurdles. She is the 2016 Rio Olympics champion and 2020 Tokyo Olympics silver medalist, becoming at the latter the then-second-fastest woman of all time in the event with her personal best of 51.58 seconds. Muhammad was second at both the 2013 and 2017 World Championships to take her first gold in 2019, setting the former world record of 52.16 s. She was the second female 400 m hurdler in history, after Sally Gunnell, to have won the Olympic, World titles and broken the world record. At both the 2019 World Championships and Tokyo Games, she also took gold as part of women's 4 × 400 metres relay team.

He won a silver medal at his first Olympic Games in 2021 and won the 400 m hurdles race at the 2024 Summer Olympics. Benjamin also won silver medals and at the World Championships in 2019 and 2022 in the men's 400 m hurdles, and gold medals in the 4 × 400 m relay in 2019 and 2021.

Michael Dickson is an American professional track and field sprint hurdler who specializes in the 110 metres hurdles. While in college he competed for the North Carolina A&T Aggies where he was a two-Time All-American and 8 Time MEAC champion.
