The men's slalom competition of the Beijing 2022 Olympics was held on 16 February, on "Ice River" course at the Yanqing National Alpine Ski Centre in Yanqing District. [1] Clément Noël of France won the event, this became his first Olympic medal. Johannes Strolz of Austria won the silver medal, and Sebastian Foss-Solevåg of Norway bronze.

André Myhrer, the 2018 champion, retired from competitions. The silver medalist, Ramon Zenhäusern, and the bronze medalist, Michael Matt, qualified for the Olympics. During the World Cup season, six slalom events were held before the Olympics: Lucas Braathen was leading the ranking, followed by Foss-Solevåg, Manuel Feller, Linus Straßer, and Daniel Yule. Foss-Solevåg was the reigning world champion, with Adrian Pertl and Henrik Kristoffersen being the silver and bronze medalists, respectively.

The men's downhill competition of the Beijing 2022 Olympics was held on Monday, 7 February, at Yanqing National Alpine Ski Centre ski resort in Yanqing District. Beat Feuz of Switzerland was the champion, Johan Clarey of France was the silver medalist, and Matthias Mayer of Austria took the bronze. This was the first Olympic gold for Feuz and the first Olympic medal for Clarey. The men's downhill at the Olympics has yet to have a repeat champion. At the age of 41, Clarey became the oldest medalist in Olympic alpine skiing history.

The men's super-G competition of the Beijing 2022 Olympics was held on Tuesday, 8 February, on the "Rock" course at Yanqing National Alpine Ski Centre ski resort in Yanqing District. Matthias Mayer of Austria defended his 2018 title. Ryan Cochran-Siegle of the United States won the silver medal, and Aleksander Aamodt Kilde of Norway won bronze. For Cochran-Siegle and Aamodt Kilde this was the first Olympic medal.

The men's giant slalom competition of the Beijing 2022 Olympics was held on 13 February, on "Ice River" course at the Yanqing National Alpine Ski Centre in Yanqing District. Marco Odermatt of Switzerland won the event. Žan Kranjec of Slovenia won the silver medal, and Mathieu Faivre of France bronze. For all of them, they got their first Olympic medals.

The women's giant slalom competition of the Beijing 2022 Olympics was held on 7 February, on "Ice River" course at the Yanqing National Alpine Ski Centre in Yanqing District. The Olympic champion was Sara Hector of Sweden, for whom this is the first Olympic medal. Federica Brignone of Italy won silver, and Lara Gut-Behrami of Switzerland bronze.

The Women's combined competition of the Beijing 2022 Olympics was held on 17 February, on "Rock" (DH) and "Ice River" (SL) courses at the Yanqing National Alpine Ski Centre in Yanqing District.

The women's slalom competition of the Beijing 2022 Olympics was held on 9 February, " on Ice River" course at the Yanqing National Alpine Ski Centre in Yanqing District. Petra Vlhová of Slovakia won the event. This was the first Olympic medal for Vlhová and the first Olympic medal in alpine skiing for Slovakia. Katharina Liensberger of Austria won silver, her first individual Olympic medal, and Wendy Holdener of Switzerland bronze.

The women's downhill competition of the Beijing 2022 Olympics was held on 15 February, on the "Rock" course at Yanqing National Alpine Ski Centre ski resort in Yanqing District. Corinne Suter of Switzerland, the reigning world champion, won the event, which was her first Olympic medal. Defending champion Sofia Goggia of Italy won silver, and Nadia Delago of Italy took bronze, also her first Olympic medal.

The women's super-G competition of the Beijing 2022 Olympics was held on 11 February 2022 on the "Rock" course at Yanqing National Alpine Ski Centre ski resort in Yanqing District. Lara Gut-Behrami of Switzerland won her first gold medal, confirming her status as a defending world champion. Mirjam Puchner of Austria became the silver medalist, winning her first Olympic medal, and Michelle Gisin of Switzerland won bronze.

The Men's Slalom World Cup 2022 consisted of 10 events including the final. However, the slalom scheduled in Zagreb on 5 January was first delayed until 6 January due to bad weather and then cancelled in the middle of the first run due to additional bad weather, leading to its removal from the schedule. Eventually, however, it was rescheduled for Flachau on 9 March, restoring the season to 10 events.

The women's parallel giant slalom competition in snowboarding at the 2022 Winter Olympics was held on 8 February, at the Genting Snow Park in Zhangjiakou. Ester Ledecká of the Czech Republic won the event, defending her 2018 title. Daniela Ulbing of Austria won the silver medal, and Glorija Kotnik of Slovenia the bronze medal. For Ulbing and Kttnik, these were the first Olympic medals.

The men's parallel giant slalom competition in snowboarding at the 2022 Winter Olympics was held on 8 February, at the Genting Snow Park in Zhangjiakou. The event was won by Benjamin Karl of Austria, the 2010 silver and 2014 bronze medalist. Tim Mastnak of Slovenia won silver, his first Olympic medal. Vic Wild, the 2014 champion, representing the Russian Olympic Committee, won the bronze medal.

The two-man competition in bobsleigh at the 2022 Winter Olympics was held on 14 February and 15 February, at the Xiaohaituo Bobsleigh and Luge Track in Yanqing District of Beijing. The event was won by Francesco Friedrich and Thorsten Margis who repeated their 2018 success. Johannes Lochner and Florian Bauer won the silver medal, and Christoph Hafer and Matthias Sommer the bronze medal, for each of them the first Olympic medal. This was the only podium sweep at the 2022 Olympics.

The four-man competition in bobsleigh at the 2022 Winter Olympics was held on 19 February and 20 February, at the Xiaohaituo Bobsleigh and Luge Track in Yanqing District of Beijing. Francesco Friedrich, Thorsten Margis, Candy Bauer, and Alexander Schüller of Germany won the gold medal, and Friedrich thereby successfully defended his 2018 Olympic title. Germany-2 driven by Johannes Lochner won the silver medal, and Canada-1, driven by Justin Kripps, won the bronze.

The men's competition in skeleton at the 2022 Winter Olympics was held on 10 February and 11 February, at the Xiaohaituo Bobsleigh and Luge Track in Yanqing District of Beijing. Christopher Grotheer of Germany won the event, with Axel Jungk, also of Germany, being the silver medalist, and Yan Wengang of China the bronze medalist. For each of them, these were their first Olympic medals.

The women's competition in skeleton at the 2022 Winter Olympics will be held on 11 February and 12 February, at the Xiaohaituo Bobsleigh and Luge Track in Yanqing District of Beijing. Hannah Neise of Germany became the Olympic champion. Jaclyn Narracott of Australia won silver, and Kimberley Bos of the Netherlands bronze. For all of them these were their first Olympic medals, moreover, Narracott's and Bos's medals were the first Olympic medals in skeleton for Australia and the Netherlands. Bos's bronze was the first medal for Netherlands in an ice sport that doesn't involve any type of skating.
