Slovenia competed at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing, China, from 4 to 20 February 2022. [1] [2]

Contents

Alpine skier Ilka Štuhec and snowboarder Žan Košir were initially chosen as the flag-bearers at the opening ceremony, [3] however, as Košir tested positive for COVID-19, he was replaced by fellow snowboarder Rok Marguč. [4] Anita Klemenčič was the flagbearer during the closing ceremony. [5]

Sport in Slovenia consists of a wide range of team and individual sports. The most popular team sports are football, basketball, volleyball, ice hockey, and handball. While the most popular individual sports are skiing, ski jumping, athletics, cycling, and tennis.
