Malaysia competed at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing, China, from 4 to 20 February 2022. [1] [2] This was the country's second appearance at the Winter Olympics and also the second consecutive time since their first appearance at the 2018 Winter Olympics. [3] [4]
Malaysia's team consisted of two alpine skiers (one per gender). These were the first Winter Olympics for Malaysia with a female athlete on the team. [5] [6] Moira Tan Siew See was appointed as the chef-de-mission of the delegation on 25 September 2021 during the 198th Olympic Council of Malaysia (OCM) Executive Council meeting which was held on virtual basis. [7]
Alpine skiers Jeffrey Webb and Aruwin Salehhuddin were the flagbearer during the opening ceremony. [8] [9] [10] Webb was also the flagbearer during the closing ceremony. [11] [12]

By meeting the basic qualification standards Malaysia qualified one male and one female alpine skier. [13]

Salehuddin "Sal" Ayob is a Malaysian slalom canoer who competed in the mid-to-late 1990s. He finished 43rd in the K-1 event at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta.
Jeffrey Webb is a Malaysian alpine ski racer. He represented Malaysia at the 2018 and 2022 Winter Olympics. As the first Malaysian to qualify, he was one of the first to compete for Malaysia at the Winter Olympics. He also competed in the 2017 Asian Winter Games.
Malaysia competed at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea, from 9 to 25 February 2018. It was the country's first appearance at the Winter Olympics. Malaysia's team consisted of five people: two athletes, two officials and one chef de mission.
Asa Bisquera Miller is a Filipino American alpine skier who competed for the Philippines at the Winter Olympics in the giant slalom and slalom. He competed in the 2018 and 2022 Winter Olympics, also serving as the flagbearer for his country during the respective game's opening ceremonies. He previously participated in the 2017 World Junior Alpine Skiing Championships in Sweden.

Both of them were also the flagbearers for Malaysia. She is also the first female athlete to represent Malaysia at the Winter Olympics. In the giant slalom she finished 38th.
Malaysia will be represented by two alpine skiers - Jeffrey Webb, 23, in men's slalom and Aruwin Idami Salehhuddin, 17, in women's slalom and giant slalom - at the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics.
