Swathi Kiranam is a 1992 Telugu-language musical drama film directed by K. Viswanath. Produced by V. Madhusudhana Rao, the film starred Mammootty in his Telugu debut, Master Manjunath and Radhika, along with Achyuth, Jayanthi, Sakshi Ranga Rao, Dubbing Janaki and Dharmavarapu Subramanyam in supporting roles. Kanukuntla Subhash Chandrabose is an Indian lyricist and playback singer who works in Telugu cinema. Chandrabose debuted as a lyricist with the 1995 film Taj Mahal. In a career spanning over 25 years, he has written lyrics for about 3600 songs in over 850 films. Chandrabose won an Academy Award and a Golden Globe Award for the song "Naatu Naatu" from RRR (2022). Neti Bharatam is a 1983 film written and directed by T. Krishna and produced by Eetharam Films. It is a musical hit film promoting liberal ideals. Lyrics for the songs were written by revolutionary poet Srirangam Srinivasa Rao, Adrushta Deepak who was then an unknown lyricist, and music scored by K. Chakravarthy. The movie is most famous for the song "Maanavatvam Parimalinche", which got the lyricist Adrushta Deepak noticed. Suman and Vijayashanti played lead roles, with Nagabhushanam and Rajyalakshmi in assisting roles. The film was remade in Kannada as Indina Bharatha, Hindi as Haqeeqat (1985) and in Tamil as Puthiya Theerppu (1985). The film won six Nandi Awards.
Pantulamma is a 1978 Indian Telugu-language drama film directed by Singeetam Srinivasa Rao. The film won four Nandi Awards & one Filmfare Award. The song Sirimalle Neeve was borrowed from music director's own composition Baanallu Neene Bhuviyallu Neene from the 1976 Kannada movie Bayalu Daari.

Nani is an Indian actor, producer and television presenter who works predominantly in Telugu cinema and appears in a few Tamil language films. He made his acting debut with Mohana Krishna Indraganti's 2008 comedy film Ashta Chamma, an Indian adaptation of Oscar Wilde's play The Importance of Being Earnest. After Ashta Chamma's commercial success, Nani played the lead roles in three Telugu films in the next two years: Ride (2009), Snehituda (2009) and Bheemili Kabaddi Jattu (2010). In 2011, Nani collaborated with B. V. Nandini Reddy on the romantic comedy film Ala Modalaindi which was profitable. The same year, he made his Tamil cinema debut with Anjana Ali Khan's Veppam, a crime drama set in the backdrop of North Chennai. The following year, Nani collaborated with S. S. Rajamouli and Gautham Vasudev Menon on the Telugu-Tamil bilingual Eega and the romance film Yeto Vellipoyindhi Manasu respectively. The former, which was about a murdered man reincarnating as a housefly and avenging his death, earned Nani an award in the Best Hero category at the 2013 Toronto After Dark Film Festival. He received the Nandi Award for Best Actor for his performance in Yeto Vellipoyindhi Manasu.
Rakendu Mouli Vennelakanti is an Indian lyricist, actor, singer, and dialogue writer who works in Telugu films. He is the son of Telugu lyricist Vennelakanti.
SIIMA Award for Best Lyricist – Telugu is presented by Vibri media group as part of its annual South Indian International Movie Awards, for the best lyrics done by a writer for a Telugu song. The award was first given in 2012 for songs and films released in 2011. Ramajogayya Sastry is the most nominated with 11 nominations and Ramajogayya Sastry and Chandrabose are the most awarded with three times winning the award.
