Chegondi Anantha Sriram is an Indian lyricist, poet and actor who works in Telugu cinema. [1] Sriram has written lyrics for over 1000 Telugu film songs in his career. He won a Nandi Award, two Filmfare Award and two SIIMA Awards for his work as a lyric writer.
Anantha Sriram was born on 8 April 1984 in Doddipatla village near Palakollu in West Godavari district. His parents are C. V. V. Satyanarayana and Umarani. [1] Anantha Sriram is a relative of politician Chegondi Harirama Jogaiah. [2] He started writing songs from the age of 12. [1]
Kadante Aunanile (2005) was the first film he worked on. He gained prominence after he wrote songs for Chiranjeevi's Andarivaadu and Stalin. [1] He has worked with top music directors including A. R. Rahman, Keeravani and Illayaraja.
Besides a Filmfare award for Yeto Vellipoyindhi Manasu , he has received a host of other honours. [3] He also made a cameo appearance in the film Saakshyam (2018) as a game designer.

Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry was an Indian poet and lyricist known for his works in Telugu cinema and Telugu theatre. He acquired the stage name Sirivennela after writing the lyrics for the 1986 film of same name. Sastry has garnered several awards including eleven Nandi Awards and six Filmfare Awards South for his work the most by any other south Indian lyricist. He had penned lyrics for over 3,000 songs until 2020. In 2019, he was awarded the Padma Shri, the fourth-highest civilian award in India, for his contributions to the field of arts and aesthetics.
