The 3rd IIFA Utsavam is an upcoming awards event that is scheduled to take place at the Etihad Arena, Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, on 27 September 2024. [1] [2] Rana Daggubati and Teja Sajja will host the Telugu segment. [3] Akul Balaji and Vijay Raghavendra will host the Kannada segment. [4] Pearle Maaney and Sudev Nair will host the Malayalam segment. Sathish and Divya Menon were later announced as the hosts for the Tamil segment. The nominations were announced on 21 August 2024. The event was originally scheduled to be held on 67 September 2024. [7] Tamil and Malayalam cinema segments and, Telugu and Kannada cinema segments were scheduled to be held on 6 September 2024 and 7 September 2024 respectively. [8] It was later rescheduled to 27 September 2024 and will be the inaugural event of the IIFA Festival 2024, followed by the 24th IIFA Awards and IIFA Rocks on 28 September 2024 and 29 September 2024 respectively, at the same venue. It was launched in 2012 by Vishnu Vardhan Induri and Brinda Prasad Adusimilli to appreciate and honour film makers from across the South Indian film industries: Telugu cinema, Tamil cinema, Kannada cinema, and Malayalam cinema, and provide a platform to promote South Indian films in international markets.

The 2nd South Indian International Movie Awards were presented on 12–13 September 2013 in Sharjah, UAE, to honour the best cinematic achievements of the South Indian film industry in the year 2012. Initially planned for 20–21 June, the date was postponed due to "100 years of Indian cinema" jubilee festivities. The ceremony was hosted by Arya, Shriya Saran, Rana Daggubati and Sonu Sood at the Expo Centre Sharjah, while the "Generation Next Awards Night" was hosted a day before by Parvathy Omanakuttan and Ash Chandler. Differing from the 1st SIIMA Awards, technical Awards were presented on the first day as well. The nominations for the 3rd South Indian International Movie Awards were announced at a press conference held at a five star hotel in Hyderabad on July 17, 2014. Actors Rana Daggubati and Shriya Saran, who are the brand ambassadors of SIIMA, were present on the occasion.

The IIFA Utsavam rewards the artistic and technical achievements of the South Indian film industry. The ceremony is organised by Wizcraft International, the team behind the IIFA Awards, and represents Telugu cinema, Tamil cinema, Malayalam cinema and Kannada cinema.

The 1st IIFA Utsavam ceremony honouring the winners and nominees of the best of South Indian cinema in 2015 was an event held on 24 and 25 January 2016 at the Gachibowli Athletic Stadium, Hyderabad. Marking the inaugural event of the IIFA Utsavam, it recognised the best work from the four industries during the period from late 2014 to late 2015 and awarded prizes to performers and technicians from the Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada languages.

The 2nd IIFA Utsavam ceremony honouring the winners and nominees of the best of South Indian cinema in 2016 was an event held on 28 and 29 March 2017 at the Hyderabad, Telangana, India. The event, which is the second edition of the IIFA Utsavam, recognises the best work from the four industries during the year 2016 and awarded prizes to performers and technicians from the Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada languages.

The 7th South Indian International Movie Awards is an awards event held in Dubai on September 14 and 15, 2018. It aims to recognize notable films and performances from the past year in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada films, along with special honors for lifetime contributions and a few special awards. The nomination list for the main awards was announced in June 2017.

SIIMA Short Film Awards is an award ceremony held annually to award the excellence in Short Films of four different languages – Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.
