Geography

Ananthavaram is situated to the northwest of the mandal headquarters, Kolluru,^[4] at 16°13′59″N80°46′11″E / 16.2329907°N 80.7696605°E / 16.2329907; 80.7696605 . It is spread over an area of 1,030 ha (2,500 acres).^[2]

Ananthavaram gram panchayat is the local self-government of the village.^[1] It is divided into wards and each ward is represented by a ward member.^[5] The village forms a part of Andhra Pradesh Capital Region and is under the jurisdiction of APCRDA.^[6]
