Shannon Shakespeare is a Canadian former competitive swimmer and freestyle specialist. Shakespeare competed for Canada at two consecutive Summer Olympics in 1996 and 2000. At the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia, she finished in 17th position in the 100-metre freestyle, 5th place in the 4x200 metre freestyle and 4x100 metre medley relays, and 7th place in the 4x100 metre freestyle relay. A key member of the Canadian women's relay teams in the 1990s, Shakespeare won a gold medal in the 4x200 metre freestyle relay at the 1995 World Championships. She also won a bronze medal in the 50-metre freestyle and 4x100-metre freestyle relay in the 1994 Commonwealth Games. She was the Canadian champion in the women's 50, 100, and 200-metre freestyle, and a 23-time All American while swimming at the University of Michigan.
Mark Andreas Cornelis Versfeld is a Canadian former competitive swimmer and backstroke specialist. At the 2000 Summer Olympics, he finished in 26th position in the 100 m backstroke. He won the same event and the 200 m backstroke two years earlier, at the 1998 Commonwealth Games. At the 1998 Aquatic World Championships he won a silver in the 100-metre backstroke, and bronze in the 200-metre backstroke, breaking a Commonwealth record in the process. He was named Canadian Male Aquatic Athlete of the Year in 1998.

Four years later, while captain of the U.S. women's team, she captured the bronze medal in the 200-meter individual medley at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, Australia.
Audrey Lacroix is a retired Canadian competitive swimmer from Montreal, Quebec. She is the Canadian record-holder in the 200-metre butterfly. She is a former world record-holder in the short-course 4x100-metre medley relay along with teammates Katy Murdoch, Annamay Pierse and Victoria Poon. She was a member of the Canadian team that finished 8th in the 4x100-metre freestyle relay and in 7th place in the 4x100-metre medley relay at the 2008 Summer Olympics. She won the gold medal in 200-metre butterfly at the 2014 Commonwealth Games. and a bronze in the women's 4x100-metre medley relay. She also swam in the 100-metre butterfly final, finishing seventh with a time of 58.78.

She finished in seventh place with the women's 4×100-metre freestyle relay team, swimming the third leg, alongside Shannon Shakespeare, Julie Howard and Marianne Limpert. Stefanyshyn was a member of Canada's sixth-place team in the women's 4x100-metre medley relay. Individually, she also finished eighth in the women's 200-metre backstroke, and competed in the semifinals of the 100-metre backstroke.

Jane Ellen Swagerty, later known by her married name Jane Hill, is an American former competition swimmer and Olympic medalist. Swagerty represented the United States as a 17-year-old at the 1968 Summer Olympics in Mexico City. She received a bronze medal for her third-place performance in the women's 100-meter backstroke (1:08.1), finishing behind fellow American Kaye Hall (1:06.2) and Canadian Elaine Tanner (1:06.7). She also swam the backstroke leg in the preliminary heats of the women's 100-meter medley relay for the gold medal-winning U.S. team, but did not receive a medal under the 1968 international swimming rules because she did not swim in the event final.
