Andrew Patterson (born November 20, 2002) is an American professional stock car racing driver who competes part-time in the ARCA Menards Series and ARCA Menards Series East, driving the Nos. 95 and 96 Toyotas for MAN Motorsports.

Racing career

From 2022 to 2023, Patterson competed in series such as the USSA Mel Kenyon Midget Series, and the Show Me The Money Pro Late Model Series. [1]

In 2024, Patterson participated in the pre-season test at Daytona International Speedway, driving the No. 73 Ford for KLAS Motorsports, [2] and placed in the top-twenty in the overall results between the two testing days, [3] although he was involved in a crash with Jeff Scofield during the second day of testing. [4] In May of that year, it was announced that Patterson will drive select races in the ARCA Menards Series and ARCA Menards Series East for MAN Motorsports and the No. 95 Toyota. [5] He made his debut at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway, driving the No. 96 for MAN as Hunter Wright was assigned to drive the No. 95. [6] After placing ninth in the lone practice session, [7] he qualified in sixth and finished one lap down in fifth place. [8] [9]

Personal life

Patterson moved to Statesville, North Carolina in 2020, where served as an intern for Jordan Anderson Racing. [10]

The 2024 Music City 150 was the 3rd stock car race of the 2024 ARCA Menards Series East season, and the 4th iteration of the event. The race was held on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at the Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway in Nashville, Tennessee, a 0.596 mile (0.959 km) permanent asphalt oval shaped short track. The race took the scheduled 150 laps to complete. William Sawalich, driving for Joe Gibbs Racing, would put on a blistering performance, leading all but five laps in the race to earn his fifth career ARCA Menards Series East win, and his first of the season. Pole-sitter Gio Ruggiero led the first four laps of the race, before he spun and hit the wall on lap 6. He continued to race until lap 49, where he pulled into the pits and retired from the race, officially credited with a 14th place finish. To fill out the podium, Isabella Robusto, driving for Venturini Motorsports, and Connor Zilisch, driving for Pinnacle Racing Group, would finish 2nd and 3rd, respectively.
