Andrew David Tennant (born 9 March 1987) is an English former professional track and road racing cyclist, [4] who rode professionally between 2009 and 2021 for six different teams. During his career, Tennant won seven medals at the UCI Track Cycling World Championships, six gold medals at the UEC European Track Championships and a silver medal at the 2014 Commonwealth Games.
Born in Wolverhampton, West Midlands, UK, Tennant began to make his mark on the cycling world as a junior rider. [5] In 2005 he was selected for British Cycling's Olympic Development Programme and lived in Tuscany, Italy with the GB squad in 2006. [6] Tennant represented England in the points race at the 2006 Commonwealth Games and represented Great Britain in the Under-23 road race at the 2006 UCI Road World Championships in Salzburg, Austria. [7] The following season he overtrained, and his results suffered as a consequence. [8] Tennant was a member of British Cycling's Olympic Academy. [8]
Whilst riding for Team Halfords Bikehut in 2009, he was mentored by Rob Hayles. [9]
In 2015 Tennant moved to the new WIGGINS team set up by Bradley Wiggins aiming to prepare British riders for the team pursuit at the 2016 Summer Olympics. [10]
Robert John Hayles is a former track and road racing cyclist, who rode for Great Britain and England on the track and several professional teams on the road. Hayles competed in the team pursuit and Madison events, until his retirement in 2011. He now occasionally provides studio-based analysis of cycle races for British Eurosport.
Edward Franklin Clancy is a British former professional track and road bicycle racer, who competed between 2004 and 2021.
Ian Dexter Stannard is a British former professional track and road racing cyclist, who rode professionally between 2008 and 2020 for the Landbouwkrediet–Tönissteiner, ISD and Ineos Grenadiers teams, before retiring after being diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis. He now works as a directeur sportif for UCI WorldTeam Ineos Grenadiers, having previously held the same role for UCI Continental team Trinity Racing.
Peter Robert Kennaugh MBE is a Manx former professional racing cyclist, who rode professionally between 2010 and 2019 for Team Sky and Bora–Hansgrohe. In 2012 he won the gold medal as part of the Great Britain Team Pursuit team at the 2012 Summer Olympics, becoming the first Manxman in 100 years to win gold. On 5 April 2019, he announced that he was taking an indefinite break from professional cycling to focus on his mental health.
Steven James Burke is a former English track and road cyclist, who rode for the now disbanded Team Wiggins Le Col cycling team. He represented Britain at the 2008 Summer Olympics, beating his pre Olympics personal best in the individual pursuit by eleven seconds, to take the bronze medal. He stood on the podium alongside his cycling idol, gold medallist Bradley Wiggins.
Erick Rowsell is a British former professional road racing cyclist, who rode professionally between 2012 and 2019 for the Endura Racing, NetApp–Endura, and Madison Genesis teams. He now works as the Elite Road Racing Manager for British Cycling, having previously been a member of their Olympic Development Programme as an endurance rider.
Andrew James Fenn is a British former professional cyclist, who rode professionally between 2011 and 2018 for four different teams.
Samuel James Harrison is a Welsh racing cyclist. He has twice won medals at the UCI Track Cycling World Championships, in 2011, and 2013.
Tatsiana Valerevna Sharakova is a Belarusian racing cyclist, who rides for Belarusian amateur team Minsk Cycling Club. She competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics on the track in the women's team pursuit for the national team.
Danielle 'Dani' Rowe MBE is a British former road and track cyclist. She retired from cycling in December 2018.

Owain Daniel Doull is a Welsh road and track cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam EF Education–EasyPost. Doull specialises in the team pursuit on the track, and won a gold medal in the discipline at the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro; as a result, he became the first Welsh-speaking athlete to win Olympic gold.
Christopher Jack Latham is an English cyclist from Bolton, who most recently rode for UCI Continental team SwiftCarbon Pro Cycling. In 2015 he won the bronze medal in the elimination race at the 2015 UEC European Track Championships in Grenchen, Switzerland.
Neah Evans is a Scottish professional racing cyclist specialising in track endurance events. Representing Great Britain at the Olympic Games, European Championships and World Championships, and Scotland at the Commonwealth Games, Evans is an Olympic medalist in the team pursuit, a World points race champion, a six-time European champion in team pursuit (4), individual pursuit and the madison, and a Commonwealth Games medalist.
Oliver "Oli" Wood is a British cyclist, who rode for UCI Continental team AT85 Pro Cycling until it folded in March 2023.
Emily Kay is a track and former road cyclist. After several years representing Great Britain and England at international competitions, Kay transferred allegiance in late 2019, and began representing Ireland on the UCI World Cup Track cycling circuit. She currently rides for UCI Women's Continental Team Torelli.
Ethan Edward Hayter is a British racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam Ineos Grenadiers and the Great Britain track cycling team.
Charles Tanfield is a British racing cyclist, who rides for UCI Continental team Saint Piran and the Great Britain national track cycling team. He competed at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo in the team pursuit. Tanfield was the 2018 Commonwealth Games individual pursuit champion, the 2018 World Championships team pursuit world champion and 2024 UEC European Track Championships team pursuit European champion.
Daniel John Bigham is a British racing cyclist, who has predominantly competed successfully in individual and team endurance track events, winning gold medals at national, European and world championships.
Andy Tennant, pro rider and ex-world team pursuit gold medallist, is an ambassador for the club. He has recently retired and regularly turns out to join the Sunday rides.
