Aneta Soukup (born December 30, 1978) is a Canadian former professional tennis player.
Soukup was raised in Kitchener, Ontario via Prague, having emigrated to Canada from Czechoslovakia.
Coached by her father Milos, she began competing on the professional tour in the late 1990s. Soukup, a right-handed player, partnered with Renata Kolbovic to win a bronze medal in the women's doubles at the 1999 Pan American Games in Winnipeg. In 2001 and 2002, she played college tennis for the Florida Gators of the University of Florida. [1] Her best performance on the WTA Tour came at Quebec City in 2004, making the doubles quarterfinals with Kateryna Bondarenko. [2]

Beatriz "Gigi" Fernández is a Puerto Rican former professional tennis player. Fernández won 17 major doubles titles and two Olympic gold medals representing the United States, and reached the world No. 1 ranking in doubles. She reached a career-high singles ranking of world No. 17 in 1991. Since retiring from the professional tour in 1997 at the age of 33, Fernández has been a tennis coach and entrepreneur. She now shares her knowledge of doubles with tennis enthusiasts throughout the US by conducting Master Doubles with Gigi Clinics and Doubles Boot Camps. Fernández is the first Puerto Rican to be inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame.
Althea Neale Gibson was an American tennis player and professional golfer, and one of the first Black athletes to cross the color line of international tennis. In 1956, she became the first African American to win a Grand Slam title. The following year she won both Wimbledon and the US Nationals, then won both again in 1958 and was voted Female Athlete of the Year by the Associated Press in both years. In all, she won 11 Grand Slam tournaments: five singles titles, five doubles titles, and one mixed doubles title. Gibson was inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame and the International Women's Sports Hall of Fame. "She is one of the greatest players who ever lived", said Bob Ryland, a tennis contemporary and former coach of Venus and Serena Williams. "Martina [Navratilova] couldn't touch her. I think she'd beat the Williams sisters." In the early 1960s she also became the first Black player to compete on the Women's Professional Golf Tour.
Nathalie Tauziat is a French former professional tennis player. She was the runner-up in women's singles at the 1998 Wimbledon Championships and runner-up in the women's doubles at the 2001 US Open partnering Kimberly Po-Messerli. She reached a career-high ranking of world No. 3 in both singles and doubles.
Angelique Widjaja is a retired Indonesian professional tennis player. She won the junior championships at Wimbledon in 2001, defeating Dinara Safina. She reached a peak of No. 55 in the WTA singles rankings in March 2003, and a peak of No. 15 in the doubles rankings in February 2004. She retired in 2008.

Alina Vladimirovna Jidkova is a former professional tennis player from Russia. In her career, she won one WTA doubles title, at the 2005 Mexican Open. She also won nine singles and nine doubles titles on the ITF Circuit. Her highest doubles ranking was world number 63 on 3 April 2000. She won one singles title and two doubles titles on the WTA tour.

Julia Cohen is an American former professional tennis player. In 2001, she won the USTA National Spring Championships 12-Under Division Championship. In her career, Cohen won five singles and four doubles titles on the ITF Women's World Tennis Tour. On July 30, 2012, she reached her best singles ranking of world No. 97. On May 13, 2013, she peaked at world number 121 in the doubles rankings.
Shaun Stafford Beckish, née Shaun Stafford, is an American former college and professional tennis player who played on the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) tour from 1989 to 1996. As a collegiate tennis player, Stafford won the 1988 NCAA national singles championship while playing for the University of Florida.
