Angela Moore is an American politician serving as a Democratic member of the Georgia House of Representatives,representing District 90 since March 2021. She assumed office following a victory in a 2021 special election. [1]

Savannah is the oldest city in the U.S. state of Georgia and the county seat of Chatham County. Established in 1733 on the Savannah River,the city of Savannah became the British colonial capital of the Province of Georgia and later the first state capital of Georgia. A strategic port city in the American Revolution and during the American Civil War,Savannah is today an industrial center and an important Atlantic seaport. It is Georgia's fifth most populous city,with a 2020 U.S. census population of 147,780. The Savannah metropolitan area,Georgia's third-largest,had a 2020 population of 404,798.

It has an officially stated population of just over 56,500 people (2022),who live in an area of 3,900 square kilometres (1,500 sq mi),with 33,000 living in the capital city,Tskhinvali.
Mikheil Saakashvili is a Georgian and Ukrainian politician and jurist. He was the third president of Georgia for two consecutive terms from 25 January 2004 to 17 November 2013. From May 2015 until November 2016,Saakashvili was the governor of Ukraine's Odesa Oblast. He is the founder and former chairman of the United National Movement party. Saakashvili heads the executive committee of Ukraine's National Reform Council since 7 May 2020. In 2021 he began serving a six-year prison sentence in Georgia on charges of abuse of power and organization of an assault occasioning grievous bodily harm against an opposition lawmaker Valery Gelashvili.
The Georgia national football team represents the country of Georgia in men's international football matches,and is controlled by the Georgian Football Federation. The Georgian team's first match took place in 1990,while Georgia was still part of the Soviet Union. The team have attempted to qualify for each major tournament from Euro 1996 onwards,but have not achieved qualification yet,although they came very close to Euro 2020. Home games are played at the Boris Paichadze Dinamo Arena in Tbilisi.
The Georgia Bulldogs football program represents the University of Georgia in the sport of American football. The Bulldogs compete in the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and the Eastern Division of the Southeastern Conference (SEC). They play their home games at historic Sanford Stadium on the university's Athens,Georgia,campus. Georgia claims four consensus national championships;while the AP and Coaches Polls have each voted the Bulldogs the national champion three times. Georgia has also been named the National Champion by at least one polling authority in four other seasons.
Shota Rustaveli Tbilisi International Airport,formerly Novo Alexeyevka International Airport,is the busiest international airport in Georgia,located 17 km (11 mi) southeast of capital Tbilisi. The airport handled 3.7 million passengers in 2019. Due to the global coronavirus pandemic,the airspace of Georgia was closed for most of 2020 causing the number of travelers through Tbilisi airport to drop by 84% to less than 600,000.
The 2008 Russo-Georgian War was a war between Russia,alongside the Russian-backed self-proclaimed republics of South Ossetia and Abkhazia,and Georgia. The war took place in August following a diplomatic crisis between Russia and Georgia,both formerly constituent republics of the Soviet Union. The fighting took place in the strategically important South Caucasus region. It is regarded as the first European war of the 21st century.
Brian Porter Kemp is an American politician serving since January 2019 as the 83rd governor of Georgia. A member of the Republican Party,Kemp served as the 27th secretary of state of Georgia from 2010 to 2018,and as a member of the Georgia State Senate from 2003 to 2007.

The 2022 United States Senate election in Georgia was held on November 8,2022,to elect a member of the U.S. Senate to represent the state of Georgia. Incumbent Democratic senator Raphael Warnock won his first full term in office,defeating Republican former football player Herschel Walker. Under Georgia's two-round system,Warnock was re-elected in a runoff election on December 6 after neither candidate received over 50% of the vote on November 8.

The 2022 Georgia gubernatorial election took place on November 8,2022 to elect the governor of Georgia. Incumbent Republican governor Brian Kemp won re-election to a second term,defeating Democratic nominee Stacey Abrams in a rematch. Abrams conceded on election night. The primary occurred on May 24,2022. Kemp was sworn in for a second term on January 9,2023.
Raphael Gamaliel Warnock is an American Baptist pastor and politician serving as the junior United States senator from Georgia since 2021. A member of the Democratic Party,Warnock has been the senior pastor of Atlanta's Ebenezer Baptist Church since 2005.
