Rhonda S. Taylor (born September 4,1965) is an American politician from Georgia. Taylor is a Democratic member of Georgia House of Representatives for District 91. [1]

Mall of Georgia is an enclosed super-regional shopping mall located in unincorporated Gwinnett County,Georgia,near the city of Buford,30 miles (48 km) northeast of Atlanta. Opened in 1999,it is currently the largest shopping mall in both the Atlanta Metropolitan Area and the state of Georgia,consisting of more than two hundred stores on three levels. Featured in the mall is a large village section,comprising lifestyle tenants and restaurants in an outdoor setting,as well as a 500-seat amphitheater. In 2017 the Mall of Georgia renovated the indoor food court area by updating the seating arrangements,furniture styles,and color schemes. Mall of Georgia was built by and is still owned by Simon Property Group. A portion of the Ivy Creek Greenway runs along the shopping mall area. The mall features the traditional retailers JCPenney,Belk,Dick's Sporting Goods,Macy's,Dillard's,and Von Maur,in addition to a 20-screen Regal Cinemas which also features IMAX. The anchor stores are Von Maur,Macy's,Dillard's,Belk,JCPenney,Havertys Furniture,Barnes &Noble,Dick's Sporting Goods,and Regal Cinemas.
Angelo F. Taylor is an American track and field athlete,winner of 400-meter hurdles at the 2000 and 2008 Summer Olympics. His personal record for the hurdles event is 47.25 seconds. His time puts him in a tie with Félix Sánchez for the #14 performer of all time. Sánchez also won two Olympic gold medals,in 2004 between Taylor's two golds and 2012,immediately following. Taylor also has a 400-meter dash best of 44.05 seconds,ranking him as the #25 performer of all time,superior to any other athlete who has made a serious effort in the 400 metres hurdles. He won the bronze medal in the 400 m at the 2007 World Championships in Athletics.

The 2006 Georgia gubernatorial election was held on November 7,2006. Georgia incumbent Republican Governor Sonny Perdue ran for re-election to a second and final term as governor. Governor Perdue was renominated by the Republican Party,defeating a minor opponent in the process,while Lieutenant Governor Mark Taylor narrowly emerged victorious from a competitive Democratic primary. In the general election,though Taylor ran a spirited campaign,Perdue was aided by the increasing tendency of the state to vote for Republicans and by his popularity with the public;polling showed his approval ratings above sixty percent. In the end,Perdue was overwhelmingly re-elected as governor,defeating Taylor in a landslide,becoming the first Republican Governor of Georgia to ever be reelected. As of 2022,this is the last time that Muscogee,Warren,Rockdale,Chatham,and Bibb counties voted for the Republican candidate for governor and the last time that Marion,Telfair,and Wheeler counties voted for the Democratic candidate.
Susie King Taylor is known for being the first African-American nurse during the American Civil War. Beyond just her aptitude in nursing the wounded of the 1st South Carolina Volunteer Infantry Regiment,Taylor was the first Black woman to self-publish her memoirs. She was the author of Reminiscences of My Life in Camp with the 33rd United States Colored Troops,Late 1st S.C. Volunteers. She was also an educator to formerly bonded Black people in the reconstruction era South by opening various schools in Georgia. Taylor would also be a part of organizing the 67 Corps of the Women's Relief Corps in 1886.
