Angela Phipps (born 17 February 1964) is a retired Canadian sprinter who specialised in the 100 and 200 metres.

She won the silver medal at the 1985 Pacific Conference Games (100 m), [1] finished sixth at the 1987 World Indoor Championships (200 m), [2] seventh at the 1987 Pan American Games 100 m and fourth at the 1987 Pan American Games 200 m. [3] She also competed at the 1987 World Championships (100 m) without reaching the final. [4]

In the 4 × 100 metres relay she won a silver medal at the 1985 Pacific Conference Games, [1] finished fourth at the 1985 World Cup, [2] won a silver medal at the 1986 Commonwealth Games [5] and finished sixth at the 1987 World Championships. [2] She also competed at the 1988 Summer Olympics without reaching the final. [6]

She ran collegiately for the LSU Tigers. [7]

She is a five-time Commonwealth Games medallist, including winning silver (1986) and bronze (1994) in the 100 metres. During the 1990s, she competed as Paula Thomas. Her personal bests of 11.15 secs in the 100 metres and 22.69 secs in the 200 metres, were the fastest times run by a British female sprinter during the 1990s.

Ruck won eight medals at the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast, Australia. Her eight medal performance of one gold, five silver, and two bronze tied her with three other athletes for the most all-time at a single Commonwealth Games, as well as making her the most decorated Canadian female athlete ever at a single Commonwealth Games. Ruck is the all-time leading medallist at the FINA World Junior Swimming Championships having won nine gold, two silver, and two bronze over the course of the 2015 and 2017 editions.

Joyce Yakubowich is a Canadian former track and field sprinter who competed mainly in the 200 metres and 400 metres. She was the 400 m gold medallist at the 1975 Pan American Games, where she also won relay medals. She twice represented Canada at the Summer Olympics and was a three-time Canadian national sprint champion.

Kylie Jacqueline Masse is a Canadian competitive swimmer. She is a four-time Olympic medallist, having tied for the bronze medal at the 2016 Summer Olympics in the 100 m backstroke and then won silver medals at the 2020 Summer Olympics in both the 100 m and 200 m backstroke and a bronze medal in the 4x100 m medley. Masse is a two-time world champion in the 100 m backstroke, breaking the eight year old world record in the process, which she held until July 2018. Hannah Margaret McNair "Maggie" Mac Neil is a Canadian competitive swimmer. A 100 metre butterfly event specialist, she is the 2020 Olympic champion, 2019 World (LC) champion, two-time World (SC) champion, 2022 Commonwealth champion, and 2023 Pan American champion. She holds the current Americas record (55.59s), the short course world record, the Commonwealth record, and Pan American record in the event.

Favour Chukwuka Ofili is a Nigerian track and field sprinter. She is the 2019 African Games silver medallist in the 400 metres. Ofili won silver for the 200 metres at the 2022 Commonwealth Games.
