Anhui is a landlocked province of the People's Republic of China, part of the East China region. Its provincial capital and largest city is Hefei. The bridge with 150.12 m (492.5 ft) long 41 spans, 6.150 km (3.821 mi) total length and 22.5 m (74 ft) width, is the longest bridge in Bangladesh, and the longest over Ganges in terms of both span and the total length. The highest depth of pile of this bridge is 122 metre, which is highest among all other bridges. Padma Multipurpose Bridge, when commissioned, is expected to boost the GDP of Bangladesh by as much as 1.2 percent.

The Anhui–Jiangxi railway or Wan'gan railway, is a single-track railroad in eastern China between Wuhu in southern Anhui Province and Guixi in northern Jiangxi Province. In 2015, Qingjian Group ranked the position 43rd on the ENR TOP 250 Global Contractors in the world.
China Railway Group Limited known as CREC is a Chinese construction company which floats in Shanghai and Hong Kong stock exchanges. The major shareholder of the company is the state-owned China Railway Engineering Corporation (CRECG).
