Annette Sikveland (born 25 April 1972 in Stavanger) is a former Norwegian biathlete. [1] During her career as biathlete Sikveland won three relay medals, bronze at the World Championships 1995 in Antholz, silver at the World Championships 1997 in Brezno-Osrblie and bronze at the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano. Her best individual olympic placing is 8th from the 15 km at the same Olympics. She retired as biathlete after that Olympics. She lives today in the German town of Schmalkalden. For a period, she lived together with the German biathlete Sven Fischer.
Elin Kristiansen is a former biathlete from Norway. She won two individual World Championships medals, one in 1988 when she won silver at the 10 km event and a bronze in 1990 from the sprint event. Her best Winter Olympic Games placing came in the 1994 Winter Olympics, when she finished fourth in the relay event, and her best individual placing was ninth, from the individual at the Olympic games 1992 in Albertville.
Albina Khamitovna Akhatova is a Russian former biathlete. She was banned for two years for doping.

Andrea Burke, née Henkel is a retired German professional biathlete and the younger sister of Manuela Henkel, a successful cross-country skier. She trained at SV Großbreitenbach. Andrea Henkel started out as a cross-country skier but later specialised in biathlon when women's biathlon became an Olympic sport.

Galina Alekseyevna Kukleva or Koukleva is a retired Russian biathlete. At the 1998 Winter Olympics she won a gold medal in the 7.5 km sprint, and was a part of the team that won a silver medal in the relay. Four years later at the 2002 Winter Olympics she was a part of the team that won a bronze medal. In the World Championships she earned a silver medal in the mass start from 2000, in addition to five relay medals. She won 9 world cup competitions by the end of her career.
Martina Zellner-Seidl is a former German biathlete. By the end of her career she had won one Olympic gold and six world championship medals,. In the World Cup she achieved 14 podium places with three victories. The best overall placing she achieved was in the 1997/98 season when she finished third.
Olena Petrova is a former Ukrainian biathlete. Petrova had switched to competing for Ukraine when she was unable to land a spot on the Russian team. She is a Merited Master of Sports of Ukraine and a former member of Dynamo (Ukraine).
Natalia Vladimirovna Guseva née Sorokina is a Russian female biathlete who lives in Saint Petersburg. Besides her biathlon career, she is a professional soldier, and as such represents the Russian Army sports club.

Alexander Wolf is a former German biathlete. At the 2008 World Championships in Östersund, he won bronze medals in the 12.5 km pursuit and the 4 × 7.5 km relay.

Vita Semerenko is a Ukrainian biathlete. She is Olympic champion in women's relay, Olympic medalist and multiple World championships medalist. She is one of the most successful Ukrainian winter athletes.
Fanny Horn Birkeland is a Norwegian former biathlete. She competed at the Biathlon World Championships 2011, where she placed sixth in the relay with the Norwegian team. In January 2015, she won her first race in the 7.5 km sprint in Ruhpolding, Germany.

Franziska Preuß is a German biathlete. She debuted in the World Cup races in the 2013–14. Preuß represented Germany at the 2014, 2018 and 2022 Winter Olympics. Her greatest achievements are winning a gold medal with the German relay team at the Biathlon World Championships 2015, winning a discipline title in Mass start in the 2014–15 and 3rd place in the overall classification in the 2020–21 season.
Nathan Smith is a Canadian biathlete.
Nadiya Billova is a Ukrainian former biathlete and biathlon coach. She competed in the women's individual event at the 1994 Winter Olympics. She also previously competed at the 1986 Biathlon World Championships for the Soviet Union, where she was part of the gold medal-winning Soviet women's relay team, and also took the silver in the sprint competition. After retiring from competition she embarked on a career as a coach, becoming one of the few female biathlon coaches working at the elite level: she has had spells coaching the Ukrainian women's and men's teams, as well as the Polish women's team. During her time with the Ukrainian women's team she coached the squad alongside her husband, Roman Bondaruk. She was named the Polish Olympic Committee's Coach of the Year in 2006 and coached the Ukrainian women's team to success at the 2014 Winter Olympics, where they took the gold medal in the relay and Vita Semerenko also took the bronze in the sprint. In May 2019 the Polish Biathlon Association announced that Billova had been forced to leave her role as the Polish women's team coach after a year due to health reasons.
