Aqar-e Olya (Persian : اقرعليا‎, also Romanized as Aqar-e ‘Olyā and Aqar ‘Olyā; also known as Aqar, Aqar-e Bālā, and ‘Aqar-e Bālā)^[1] is a village in Fariman Rural District, in the Central District of Fariman County, Razavi Khorasan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 993, in 202 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Fariman Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in the Central District of Fariman County, Razavi Khorasan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 9,351, in 2,178 families. The rural district has 26 villages.
