Maragheh (Persian : مراغه‎, also Romanized as Marāgheh; also known as Maragheb)^[1] is a village in Sang Bast Rural District, in the Central District of Fariman County, Razavi Khorasan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 358, in 104 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is a pluricentric language primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Sang Bast Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in the Central District of Fariman County, Razavi Khorasan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 6,612, in 1,785 families. The rural district has 34 villages.

The Central District of Fariman County is a district (bakhsh) in Fariman County, Razavi Khorasan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 63,694, in 15,682 families.
