The Arab Clubs Champions Championship is a sport competition for club volleyball teams, currently held annually and organized by the Arab Volleyball Association. the first edition was played in Libya in 1978.

Al Rayyan Volleyball is a professional volleyball team based in Al-Rayyan, Qatar. It competes in the Qatari Volleyball League. They participated in the 2012 edition of the FIVB Volleyball Men's Club World Championship held in Qatar after winning the Heir Apparent Cup. The club hired four top athletes to strengthen the team before the 2012 Club World Championships. These include Rodrigão from Brazil, the Bulgarian brothers Georgi and Valentin Bratoev, and the American David Lee, a Gold medalist in Beijing 2008. They did not advance past the group stage. The best achievement for the Al Rayyan volleyball team was in 2014 when they came in the second place in the World Club championship. The squad included Michael Sánchez, Raphael Vieira de Oliveira, Matey Kaziyski and Robertlandy Simón as foreign players in the team. Al Rayan won the GCC Champions Cup in 2011 and 2015 as well as the Arab championship and Asian cup.

Noureddine Hfaiedh is a Tunisian volleyball player and a coach. He is 197 cm high and plays as wing spiker.

The Étoile Sportive du Sahel Volleyball Club (Arabic: النجم الرياضى الساحلى للكرة الطائرة, often referred to as ESS) is one of Étoile du Sahel club's sections that represent the club in Tunisia and international volleyball competitions, the club team section based in Sousse since the year 1957.

The Tunisian Volleyball Federation (French: Fédération tunisienne de volley-ball) (FTVB) (Arabic: الجامعة التونسية للكرة الطائرة), is the governing body for Volleyball in Tunisia since 1956. The federation is a member of the Arab Volleyball Association, Mediterranean volleyball Confederation, African Volleyball Confederation (CAVB) and the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB). The president of FTVB is Mounir Ben Slimene.

The Women's African Volleyball Clubs Championship is an international women's club volleyball competition organized by the African Volleyball Confederation. Abdalla Ahmed Bekhit is an Egyptian indoor volleyball player. He was included as part of the Egypt national team at the 2008 Summer Olympics. Ahmed was named to the all-tournament team at the FIVB World Grand Champions Cup. He is a setter. He was part of the Egypt men's national volleyball team at the 2010 FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship in Italy. He played for Al Ahly SC.

The FIVB Volleyball Men's Club World Championship is an international men's club volleyball competition organised by the Fédération Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB), the sport's global governing body. The competition was first contested in 1989 in Italy. It was not held between 1993 and 2008, but since 2009, the competition has been held every year, and has been hosted by Qatar and Brazil except in 2017 and 2018 where both hosted by Poland.

The FIVB Volleyball Women's Club World Championship is an international women's club volleyball competition organised by the Fédération Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB), the sport's global governing body. The competition was first contested in 1991 in Brazil. It was not held between 1995 and 2009, but since 2010, the competition has been held every year, and has been hosted by Qatar, Switzerland, the Philippines, Japan, China and Turkey. The competition was held in Zhejiang Province of China in 2018 and 2019. After the 2020 championship was cancelled due to corona virus pandemic, the competition was held in Turkey in 2021.

Ahmed Kotb, or Ahmed El-Kotb, is an Egyptian indoor volleyball player. Since 2008 he is a member of the Egypt men's national volleyball team, where he goes by the nickname Kotb. He competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics and 2014 World Championships.
