Club Africain competes in the Tunisian Championship. It fields several sport teams, including football, handball, basketball, swimming and volleyball. The football team was the first Tunisian club to win an international trophy in 1971, when they won the Maghreb Cup Winners Cup and the African Cup of Champions Clubs in 1991 as first Tunisian team to lift the trophy.

The team is one of the leading nations in men's volleyball on the African continent, having won a medal in every continental championship they participated since 1967. Ten-time African Championship winners, Tunisia have participated in six Olympics, with a best finish of ninth at Los Angeles 1984.
Ahmed Salah, also known as Ahmed Abdel Naeim, is an Egyptian indoor volleyball player. Since 2003 he is a member of the Egypt men's national volleyball team, where he goes by the nickname Salah. He competed at the 2008 and 2016 Summer Olympics and 2006, 2010 and 2014 World Championships.
The Israel men's national volleyball team represents Israel in international men's volleyball competitions and friendly matches. It is governed by the Israel Volleyball Association. Al Rayyan Volleyball is a professional Volleyball team based in Al-Rayyan, Qatar. It competes in the Qatari Volleyball League. They participated in the 2012 edition of the FIVB Volleyball Men's Club World Championship held in Qatar after winning the Heir Apparent Cup. The club hired four top athletes to strengthen the team before the 2012 Club World Championships. These include Rodrigão from Brazil, the Bulgarian brothers Georgi and Valentin Bratoev, and the American David Lee, a Gold medalist in Beijing 2008. They did not advance past the group stage. The best achievement for the Al Rayyan volleyball team was in 2014 when they came in the second place in the World Club championship. The squad included Michael Sánchez, Raphael Vieira de Oliveira, Matey Kaziyski and Robertlandy Simón as foreign players in the team. Al Rayan won the GCC Champions Cup in 2011 and 2015 as well as the Arab championship and Asian cup.
Noureddine Hfaiedh is a Tunisian volleyball player and a coach. He is 197 cm high and plays as wing spiker.
The Tunisian Volleyball Federation(FTVB), is the governing body for Volleyball in Tunisia since 1956. The federation is a member of the Arab Volleyball Association, Mediterranean volleyball Confederation, African Volleyball Confederation (CAVB) and the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB). The president of FTVB is Firas El Faleh.
Hamdy Awad El-Safi is a former Egyptian male volleyball player. He was part of the Egypt men's national volleyball team. He competed with the national team at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, Australia, finishing 11th.
Hossam Abdalla is an Egyptian male volleyball player. He was part of the Egypt men's national volleyball team at the 2014 FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship in Poland. He played for Al Ahly.
Abdalla Ahmed Bekhit is an Egyptian indoor volleyball player. He was part of the Egypt national team at the 2008 Summer Olympics. Ahmed was named to the all-tournament team at the FIVB World Grand Champions Cup. He is a setter. He was part of the Egypt men's national volleyball team at the 2010 FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship in Italy. He played for Al Ahly SC.
