The North African Championship is an old football competition organized in North Africa since 1920 to 1956, it pits the champions of the five North African leagues against each other at the end of the season to set the North African Champion. It disappears at the end of the 1955-1956 edition after the independence of Morocco and Tunisia. [1]

The Algerian Cup also known the Republic Cup, is a football competition in Algeria, pitting regional teams against each other. It was established in October 1962, three months after independence, and has been played yearly since then apart from 1990 and 1993.
Sidi Bel Abbès, also called Bel Abbès, is the capital of the Sidi Bel Abbès wilaya, Algeria. It is named after Sidi bel Abbass, a Muslim marabout or noble man who is buried there. The city is the commercial center of an important area of vineyards, market gardens, orchards, and grain fields. It was formerly surrounded by a wall with four gates, and today is home to a university. Sidi Bel Abbès is 75 kilometers from the Mediterranean Sea.
Jeunesse Sportive de Kabylie, known as JS Kabylie or JSK, is an Algerian professional football club based in Tizi Ouzou. The club is named after the cultural, natural and historical region that is home to the Kabyle Berber people speaking Kabyle. The club was founded in 1946 and its colours are yellow and green. Their home stadium, Hocine-Ait Ahmed Stadium, has a capacity of 50,766 spectators. The club is currently playing in the Algerian Ligue Professionnelle 1. It is the most successful football club in Algeria.
The Tunisian Professional League 1, previously called the Tunisian National Championship between 1956 and 1994, is the top division football tournament in Tunisia under the organization of the Tunisian Football Federation. Sporting Club de Bel-Abbès, known as SC Bel-Abbès or simply SCBA for a short, is a French Algerian defunct football club founded in 1906 in Sidi Bel Abbès. It's considered as the most successful North African club before 1962 under the French colonisation.
