Wheeling station is a U.S. historic train station located at Wheeling, Ohio County, West Virginia. It was built in 1907–1908, and is a four-story, rectangular brick and limestone building in the Beaux-Arts-style. It measures 250 feet long by 89 feet, 6 inches, deep. It features mansard roofs, built of concrete and covered with Spanish tile painted pink. Passenger service ceased in 1961. The building was remodeled in 1976 to house the West Virginia Northern Community College.

Carter Coal Company Store, also known as Consolidation Coal Company Store, is a historic company store building located at Caretta, McDowell County, West Virginia. It was built about 1912 by the Carter Coal Company, and is a one-story brick commercial building on a stone foundation. It has a gable roof. The building was originally "T"-shaped, but wood frame additions built in 1922, spread the plan to an "L.". It ceased operating as a post office in August 2005.
The Hinton Historic District is a national historic district located at Hinton, Summers County, West Virginia. The original Hinton Historic District is bordered roughly by the Chesapeake and Ohio Railroad line, James Street, 5th Avenue, and Roundhouse. The boundary increase extended the district to include Mill Street. It encompasses 212 contributing buildings, one contributing structure, and two contributing objects. They include the business and commercial core of Hinton and surrounding residential areas. The buildings are largely two and three story with first floor commercial activities with offices and apartments above. Many of the buildings feature stone trim and some have cast iron store fronts. Residential buildings are representative of popular late 19th- and early 20th-century architectural styles. Notable buildings include the Wagon Wheel Restaurant (1876), Summers County Library, R.R. Flanagan Building, Lowe Furniture Company Building, former National Bank of Summers building, O. Ike Keaton residence, Bluestone Tire Company building, C&O Railway Passenger Station, Y.M.C.A., First Baptist Church (1913), Hotel McCreery, Ewart-Miller Building, McCreery / Palmer residence, Carnegie Library, Summers County Jail (1870s), and U.S. Post Office. Located in the district is the separately listed Summers County Courthouse.
The Carter Coal Company Store was a historic company store building located at Coalwood, McDowell County, West Virginia. It was built by the Carter Coal Company about 1912, and remodeled in 1922. The one-story brick building housed a store, company offices, and a post office.

It is located at 1108 Third Avenue, in Huntington, Cabell County, West Virginia. It was built between 1914 and 1922 as a five-story brick building.
Morgan County Courthouse was a historic courthouse building located at Berkeley Springs, Morgan County, West Virginia. It was built in 1907 and was a two-story, three-bay, building constructed of yellow brick with limestone accents in the Neoclassical style. It featured a centered, octagonal clock tower that extended above the second story flat roof and dominated the main elevation. Also on the property are an annex and former jail (1939). The courthouse building was damaged by fire in 2006 and was subsequently demolished.
The Nathaniel West Buildings in southeast Portland, Oregon, United States, are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The two structures are part of a group of three, including West's Block, built by West in the late 19th century.

Located within the district is the separately listed Ferrell-Holt House.
Algoma Coal and Coke Company Store, also known as Tug River Health Clinic, is a historic company store building located at Algoma, McDowell County, West Virginia. It was built in the 1948 to a design by Welch architect Hassel T. Hicks. It is a two-story building with a flat roof, with exterior walls of glazed yellow tile with alternating bands of red brick in the Moderne style. It originally housed a store and offices and has also been home to a health clinic.

It was a two-story brick building with a one-story wing that housed the business office. It had a flat roof, sat on a high stone foundation, and featured Neoclassical detailing. It had a brick cornice with a concrete parapet and a concrete entablature with dentils.
Blackman–Bosworth Store, also known as Bosworth Store Building, S.N. Bosworth's Cheap Cash Store, David Blackman's Store, and Randolph County Museum, is a historic general store located at Beverly, Randolph County, West Virginia, United States. It consists of the original section, built about 1828, with an addition built in 1894. The original section is a two-story brick building on a cut-stone foundation. In addition to being operated as a general store into the 1920s, the building had short-term use as county courthouse, post office and semi-official meeting place. In 1973, the Randolph County Historical Society purchased the property, and it now serves as the Randolph County Museum and as a meeting place.
Q. M. Pyne Store, also known as the Palisades Restaurant, is a historic country store located at Eggleston, Giles County, Virginia. It consists of two multi-story, brick masonry structures, attached side by side and embanked into a hillside. The north building was completed in 1926 and appended with a similar building on the south side about 1929. The north building is three stories and measures 70 feet deep and 40 feet wide. It has a flat roof, parapet and sign tablet, with a windowed storefront below. The building housed C.C. Whittaker & Company, a general store; a Chevrolet Dealership, with a showroom and a place to repair cars; a doctor's office; and the United States Post Office until it moved to its new location in the 1980s.
Edom Store and Post Office, also known as John Chrisman Store and Myers and Company, is a historic store and post office located at Edom, Rockingham County, Virginia. It was built about 1835, and is a two-story, brick commercial building. It features a metal-sheathed gable roof, a five-bay façade with center entries on the first and second stories, and a one-story entry porch and a storefront added in the late-19th century. It has a two-story rear ell. The interior is transitional Federal-Greek Revival. Also on the property is a contributing frame barn dated to about 1900. The Edom Post Office operated out of the store until the late 1930s and the store closed about 1940.

The majority of the buildings are two-to-four stories in height and are composed of brick with stucco, stone and metal detailing. Located in the district is the separately listed The Coliseum-Duplex Envelope Company Building.

The District is characterized by a variety of architectural styles, including large industrial vernacular buildings, standard post-1900 commercial storefronts, and a large Modern-style department store. The majority of the buildings are two-to-four stories in height and are composed of brick with stucco, stone and metal detailing. Notable buildings include Putney Shoe Factory (1910), C.F. Sauer Headquarters (1910), L.H. Jenkins Book Manufactory (1902), Virginia School Supply Company (1913), the Coca-Cola Bottling Plant (1925), and the former Sears department store. Located in the district is the separately listed Atlantic Motor Company.
The Riverside Iron Works Office Building is a historic commercial building at 1507–09 Main Street in Wheeling, West Virginia. It is a four-story masonry structure, triangular in shape, and built out of light-colored brick with stone trim elements. The first three floors, built in 1896, are Richardsonian Romanesque in style, with rusticated stone elements on the ground floor at the rounded corner, and round-arch settings for doors and windows. The fourth floor, simpler in style, was added about 1907. It was built for the Riverside Iron Works, Wheeling's leading steel manufacturers at the time, and served as its headquarters until 1898, when the company was acquired by National Tube Company.
