Sri Lanka national cricket team National sports team

The Sri Lanka national men's cricket team, nicknamed The Lions, represents Sri Lanka in men's international cricket. It is a Full Member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) with Test, One-Day International (ODI) and T20 International (T20I) status. Shabnim Ismail is a South African cricketer who made her debut for the national women's team in January 2007. A right-arm fast bowler, Ismail is South Africa's all-time leading wicket-taker in both the One Day International and Twenty20 International formats. She has earned a reputation as one of the fastest female bowlers in the world, with her top recorded speed reaching 128 kilometres per hour (80 mph).

He made his first-class debut for Cricket Australia XI on 29 October 2015 in a tour match against the New Zealanders as part of New Zealand's tour to Australia. He has also played for the Melbourne Renegades in the Big Bash League. He scored his maiden first-class century playing for Cricket Australia XI in a tour match against England at Townsville in mid-November 2017, scoring 51 in the first innings and then 134 not out in the second. He also took 4/103 with the ball.

In July and August 2018, South Africa A cricket team visited India to play two first-class matches against India A. India A won the two-match series 1–0. They were joined by India B and Australia A cricket team for a List-A Quadrangular Series in August. India-B defeated Australia-A in the final to win the series. After Quadrangular series, Australia-A played two first-class matches against India A.The two-match series was drawn 1-1.

The 2018–19 Indian cricket season was the 126th cricket season since the commencement of first-class cricket in India. The international cricket season started early in June 2018 with Afghanistan playing its home matches against Bangladesh. Afghanistan went on to win the T20I series 3–0. The Indian national team started its season hosting Afghanistan for the latter's Test cricket debut. India won the match in two days by an innings and 262 runs. West Indies toured India and lost the Test series 0–2, ODI series 1–3 and the T20I series 0–3. Australia toured India and won the T20I series 2–0 and ODI series 3–2. India also played host to Afghanistan's home games against Ireland. Afghanistan won the T20I series 3–0 and Test series 1–0. The ODI series was drawn 2–2. England women's toured India and lost the WODI series 1–2 but won the WT20I series 3–0.
