Cornelius von Lubowiecki (1876 — date of death unknown) was an Austrian discus thrower and swimmer.

He represented the Wiener Athletiksport Club in Wien, Austria. [1] He won the 1900 Austrian Athletics Championships discus title, qualifying him for the Paris Games. Due to a misunderstanding, he overslept and missed the discus qualifying round, but was given a second chance to qualify the morning of the finals. [2] However, that morning the standard-size implement couldn't be found, leaving von Lubowiecki forced to throw a heavier disc. [3] He failed to qualify for the discus finals and also did not start the 400 m and 800 m races he was entered in. On 13 September 1903, he set his discus personal best of 37.90 metres. [4]
