Judy Guinness British fencer

Heather Seymour "Judy" Guinness was a British fencer. She won a silver medal in the women's individual foil event at the 1932 Summer Olympics. The judges had awarded her the gold medal but, in a noted gesture of fair play, she informed them they had failed to count two hits achieved by her Austrian opponent Ellen Preis.

The women's foil was one of seven fencing events on the fencing at the 1948 Summer Olympics programme. It was the fifth appearance of the event. The competition was held from 31 July 1948 to 2 August 1948. 39 fencers from 15 nations competed.
