Azad (Persian : ازاد‎, also Romanized as Āzād; also known as Sāsūkī-ye Āzād)^[1] is a village in Dust Mohammad Rural District, in the Central District of Hirmand County, Sistan and Baluchestan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 238, in 44 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Dust Mohammad Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in the Central District of Hirmand County, Sistan and Baluchestan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 20,788, in 4,264 families. The rural district has 96 villages.
