Baba Mukteshwarnath Dham is a godly sacred place of Hinduism dedicated to Lord Shiva In village Deohar, in the Indian state of Bihar. Baba Mukteshwarnath Dham is considered as one of the best temples in Deohar, Bihar.

Location

Baba Mukteshwarnath Dham is situated in Deohar village of Andhrathari block under Madhubani district in the Indian state of Bihar.

History

According to religious beliefs, Baba Mukteshwarnath Dham has a history of about 200 years. Although there are many very important places in Mithilanchal (Bihar), which are completely neglected by historians and archaeologists, but the prevailing story traditions and folk beliefs about those places reveal their past. [1] Shri Shri Baba Mukteshwar Nath Mahadev Temple is famous as Mukteshwar place, is a very historical and archaeological religious place. [2]

It is believed that while on one hand the famous register-practice of Mithilanchal is associated with Baba Mukteshwarnath Dham, on the other hand many artifacts of archaeological importance are also attracting researchers towards them. [1] [3]

It is believed that the Mukteshwar Nath temple was built around 200 years ago. From the archaeological point of view, Mukteshwar place is a very important place. The Shivling here is unique. A few decades ago, the work of excavation was done by a sannyasi, then he saw that this Shivling became very thick and huge on going down, due to which the excavation work was stopped and filled again and made worshipable. During the excavation of the soil, a very beautiful idol of Ganesh and Parvati was also found, which is still installed in the Parvati temple. [1] [4]

Tourism

From all across the district as well as state, devotees come here to pray for their better life ahead. This temple is the best place for holy expeditions and tourists.

Maa Janaki Janmbhoomi Mandir or Punaura Dham is a proposed grand temple of princess Sita in Mithila at her birthplace. The site is located at the Punaura Dham in Sitamarhi district of Bihar in India. The site is considered as the appearance place from where Sita was found closed in a box from a farm field while the King Janaka was ploughing the farm field. Ramayana Research Council has proposed the construction of the world's tallest 251-feet statue of Mother Sita at Sitamarhi. There is a plan to build Janaki Dham in Sitamarhi on the lines of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. A grand campus known as Janaki Dham will be built on 57 acres of land near Punauradham. It is expected that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi will laid the foundation stone of the Janaki Dham before upcoming Lok Sabha Election 2024. The foundation stone of the Janaki Janmasthali Mandir was laid by the Chief Minister Nitish Kumar of Bihar on 13 December 2023 at Punauradham in Sitamarhi, the place of manifestation of Goddess Janaki.

Shringi Rishi Dham is located in Lakhisarai district of Bihar state. According to the belief, it was here that King Dashrath performed a Yagya to get a son and after the incarnation of Lord Ram along with his four sons Lakshman, Shatrughan and Bharat, the Mundan Sanskar of all four of them also took place. The hills, waterfalls and ponds of Shringi Rishi are the center of attraction.
