The first season of the Bad Girls Club debuted on December 5, 2006, [1] and concluded on April 24, 2007, followed by two specials. Production of the season began in June 2006, and was located in Los Angeles, California.
The season began with seven original bad girls, of which one left voluntarily and two were removed by production. Three replacement bad girls were introduced in their absences later in the season.

Bad Girls Club is a 2006 American reality television series created by Jonathan Murray for the Oxygen network in the United States. The show focused on the altercations and physical confrontations of seven aggressive, quarrelsome, unruly women. They were featured on the show as "charismatic tough chicks." The cast, deemed "bad girls," enjoyed a luxurious lifestyle in a mansion for three months, during which they obeyed specified rules. Their lives inside and outside the house were recorded by a production team.
Bad Girls Road Trip is an American reality television series which aired on Oxygen from June 12, 2007, to July 24, 2007. It is the first spin-off of Bad Girls Club. Bad Girls Road Trip stars season one alumni Zara Sprankle, Aimee Landi, and Leslie Ramsue, who tour their respective hometowns, search for casting opportunities for the second season of Bad Girls Club as well as visiting some of their former housemates.
The fifth season of Bad Girls Club is titled Bad Girls Club: Miami and premiered on August 3, 2010, on Oxygen. This season moved filming from Los Angeles, California to Miami, Florida in an area on North Bay Road, between 41st and 64th streets, which filming began in early 2010.
The fourth season of Bad Girls Club premiered on December 1, 2009, on Oxygen. This season's reunion was hosted by Perez Hilton and is the first season to have more than one part. Oxygen renewed Bad Girls Club for a fourth season in April 2009. Production of the season 4 began in June 2009, similar to seasons 1 through 3. Casting began several weeks before the season premiere of season 3 with potential applicants submitting video tape submissions. Casting calls, similar to previous seasons of the Bad Girls Club, began in Los Angeles, California and later other major cities Atlanta, Buffalo, Oakland, Chicago, and Philadelphia.
The third season of Bad Girls Club premiered on December 2, 2008, on Oxygen. It is the first season to expand from a half-hour to one-hour format. Production of the season began in June 2008, and was located in Los Angeles, California. It is also the first season to feature the girls taking a vacation. At the time of its premiere, the third season was the network's highest-rated and most-watched season premiere ever. It acquired a 0.8 household rating, averaging 807,000 total viewers. Among viewers 18–49, it acquired 568,000 viewers; 405,000 viewers were women 18–49 and 337,000 were women 18–34. This would later be surpassed by future seasons.
The second season of Bad Girls Club premiered on December 4, 2007, on Oxygen. Production of the season began in June 2007, and was located in Los Angeles, California. This season was the last to air 30 minute episodes, and its reunion is hosted by Star Jones. Season 2 is also the first Oxygen original series to ever break the one million viewer mark.

The tenth season of Bad Girls Club is titled Bad Girls Club: Atlanta and premiered on January 15, 2013 and was filmed in Atlanta, Georgia. For this season, the show returned to the United States. Also, this is the fifth season to take place in a different location from Los Angeles, the first being season five, the second being season seven, the third being season eight and the fourth being season nine.

Bad Girls Club: East Meets West is the seventeenth and final season of the Bad Girls Club. On January 10, 2017, the cast was revealed, along with a premiere date of February 14, 2017. Before the season officially began, a casting special aired on February 7, 2017. This season consists of Bad Girls from only the East Coast and the West Coast, living in a spacious Downtown Los Angeles loft. It was the final Bad Girls Club series to air on Oxygen before its format change to a true crime network; Oxygen has yet to announce the show's future fate in another venue.
