Tanisha Thomas is a reality television personality. She is best known for her appearance on the second season of the reality television series Bad Girls Club . In 2023, Thomas became the winner of season 1 of the E! reality competition House of Villains .

Bad Girls Club

In 2007, Tanisha Thomas sent in a casting tape to the casting directors of the Bad Girls Club, an American reality television series. [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] Thomas was chosen to be one of the seven "bad girls", and filming took place in Los Angeles, California from August to November 2007. [7] [8] During the season, Thomas was quickly favored among fans of the show. [8] [9]

After Bad Girls Club

In January 2011, Oxygen released OxygenLive!, an online show hosted by Thomas. It was broadcast after Bad Girls season six debuted on Oxygen, and focused on the cast, occasionally bringing in "bad girls" from earlier seasons. [10] Oxygen had renewed the dating game show Love Games: Bad Girls Need Love Too [11] with Thomas as the host for the second season. [12] The third season aired on December 5, 2011. [13] [14]

In 2011, SallyAnn Salsano wanted to film Thomas' wedding and her planning of it with her fiancé. Salsano and Joel Zimmer held a press conference to talk to Thomas about a possible television documentary based on her wedding planning. [15] [16] It follows Thomas and her fiancee, Clive Muir, as they prepare their wedding day. [15] Thomas gave the okay and filming began shortly thereafter. [15] [17] [18] It was later called Tanisha Gets Married and consisted of seven one-hour episodes airing on Mondays on Oxygen. [19] Tanisha Gets Married premiered on Monday, May 7, 2012, after part two of season eight's reunion special. The show debuted with 1,073,000 viewers, becoming Oxygen's best ever freshman docu-series premiere, according to TV by the Numbers. Compared with Oxygen's time slots in April 2012, Tanisha Gets Married was a 96% increase in all Oxygen's key demos. According to SocialGuide, Tanisha Gets Married ranked number four on the most social series amongst all cable series. [16] [20]

Thomas hosted the two-part reunion special for Bad Girls Club season eight. She continued to host the reunions for recent seasons of Bad Girls Club and spinoff Bad Girls All-Star Battle .

Personal life

Thomas was raised in Flatbush, Brooklyn [21] and married Clive Muir [22] at the Thatched Cottage on Long Island, New York on December 4, 2011. [23] The couple separated.

In 2016, she began dating Carey St. Hilaire. In October 2017, Thomas announced she and St. Hilaire were expecting their first child together. On March 7, 2018, she gave birth to a boy. [24]

Other projects

Thomas and her then-husband Clive Muir appeared on Marriage Boot Camp for its first season, which premiered May 30, 2014. [25]

Thomas appeared on Baddies for its first season as an executive producer and cast member, yet departed from the series for its second season.[ citation needed ]

The third season of Bad Girls Club premiered on December 2, 2008, on Oxygen. It is the first season to expand from a half-hour to one-hour format. Production of the season began in June 2008, and was located in Los Angeles, California. It is also the first season to feature the girls taking a vacation. At the time of its premiere, the third season was the network's highest-rated and most-watched season premiere ever. It acquired a 0.8 household rating, averaging 807,000 total viewers. Among viewers 18–49, it acquired 568,000 viewers; 405,000 viewers were women 18–49 and 337,000 were women 18–34. This would later be surpassed by future seasons.

Season 2 dropped Bridezillas from the title, and premiered on March 7, 2014.

Camilla Poindexter is an American reality television personality and model. She is mostly known for her appearance on season eight of Oxygen's Bad Girls Club. Poindexter was runner-up in Oxygen's fourth season of Love Games: Bad Girls Need Love Too. She has also appeared as a contestant on America's Next Top Model on Cycle 10 where she came out in Top 20. Poindexter was a contestant on the NBC series Momma's Boys and was eliminated on the series finale.

<i>Baddies</i> (TV series) American TV series or program

Baddies is an American reality television series that premiered on May 16, 2021, on the Zeus Network. It is a spiritual successor to the former Oxygen series Bad Girls Club that aired from 2006 to 2017. Baddies was developed following an episode of The Conversation that aired on Zeus in December 2020, which featured cast members from Bad Girls Club.
