Badraq-e Nuri (Persian : بدراق نوري‎, also Romanized as Badrāq-e Nūrī)^[1] is a village in Katul Rural District, in the Central District of Aliabad County, Golestan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 2,039, in 397 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Katul Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in the Central District of Aliabad County, Golestan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 33,729, in 7,762 families. The rural district has 31 villages.

The Central District of Aliabad County is a district (bakhsh) in Aliabad County, Golestan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 89,204, in 21,632 families. The District has three cities: Aliabad-e Katul, Sangdevin & Mazraeh. The District has two rural districts (dehestan): Katul Rural District and Zarrin Gol Rural District.
