The Bahamas cricket team toured Bermuda in July 2019 to play a 50-over match followed by a four-match Twenty20 series. [1] [2] The fixtures were part of Bermuda's preparation for hosting and participating in the Americas Regional Qualifying Finals tournament for the 2019 ICC T20 World Cup Qualifier. [3]

The matches in the T20 series would have been the first fixtures with Twenty20 International status to be played by either team since the International Cricket Council announced that all Twenty20 matches played between Associate Members from 1 January 2019 would have full T20I status, [4] although Bermuda had previously played three T20Is during the 2008 ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier. However the matches were not granted T20I status. [5] Bermuda won every match of the tour. [5] [6]

The 2019 ICC Men's T20 World Cup Qualifier was a cricket tournament held during October and November 2019 in the United Arab Emirates to determine the teams that would qualify for the 2021 ICC Men's T20 World Cup tournament. The six teams finishing highest in the qualifier tournament joined Sri Lanka and Bangladesh in the first group stage of the 2020 ICC Men's T20 World Cup. Twelve regional qualifiers were held by the International Cricket Council (ICC), with 62 teams competing during 2018 in five regions – Africa, Americas (2), Asia (2), East Asia Pacific (2) and Europe (3). The top 25 sides from these progressed to five Regional Finals in 2019, with seven teams then going on to compete in the 2019 ICC T20 World Cup Qualifier, along with the six lowest ranked sides from the ICC T20I Championship.

The 2018–19 ICC T20 World Cup Asia Qualifier was the tournament played as part of qualification process for the 2021 ICC T20 World Cup.

The 2018–19 ICC T20 World Cup East Asia-Pacific Qualifier was the tournament played in Fiji and Philippines as part of qualification process for the 2021 ICC T20 World Cup.

The 2018–19 ICC T20 World Cup Africa Qualifier was the tournament played as part of qualification process for the 2021 ICC T20 World Cup.

The Germany cricket team toured Belgium in May 2019 to play three Twenty20 International (T20I) matches. These were the first T20I fixtures to be played by either team, after the International Cricket Council announced that all matches played between Associate Members after 1 January 2019 would have the full T20I status. The series took place at the Royal Brussels Cricket Club in Waterloo, just south of Brussels, with Germany using the fixtures as part of their preparation for the European Regional Qualifying tournament for the 2019 ICC T20 World Cup Qualifier. Germany won te series 3-0.

The Germany cricket team toured the Netherlands in May 2019 to play two Twenty20 International (T20I) matches against Italy. These were the first T20I fixtures to be played by Italy, after the International Cricket Council announced that all matches played between Associate Members after 1 January 2019 would have full T20I status. Germany had played their first official T20I matches earlier in the month against Belgium. Both matches were played on 25 May 2019, with the teams using the fixtures as part of their preparation for the European Regional Qualifying Finals tournament for the 2019 ICC T20 World Cup Qualifier. Both teams played a 20-over warm up match against a Netherlands Development XI side on 24 May 2019. Italy won the T20I series 2–0.

Guernsey cricket team hosted Jersey cricket team from 31 May to 1 June 2019 to contest the 2019 T20 Inter-Insular Cup, consisted of three Twenty20 International (T20I) matches. The series took place at two grounds in Guernsey: College Field in Saint Peter Port and King George V Sports Ground in Castel. The two sides had played an Inter-Insular match annually since 1950, generally as 50-over contests. A Twenty20 series was played for the first time in 2018, with Jersey winning the inaugural series 3–0.

The 2019 Malaysia Tri-Nation Series was a Twenty20 International (T20I) cricket tournament held in Malaysia.

The Jersey cricket team toured Qatar in October 2019 to play a three-match Twenty20 International (T20I) series. Jersey used the series as preparation for the 2019 ICC T20 World Cup Qualifier. The matches were played at the West End Park International Cricket Stadium in Doha.

The 2019 Valletta Cup, the inaugural edition of the Valletta Cup, was a Twenty20 cricket tournament held in Malta between 17 and 20 October 2019. The participating teams were the hosts Malta along with Czech Republic, Iceland and a Hungary XI. Matches played between Malta and the Czech Republic had official Twenty20 International (T20I) status, but because Iceland were not an Associate Member of the ICC and the selected Hungarian squad was not an official national side, matches involving either of these teams did not have T20I status. In April 2018, the International Cricket Council (ICC) granted full international status to Twenty20 men's matches played between member sides from 1 January 2019 onwards. Therefore, all the matches in the Global Qualifiers were played as Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is). Global Qualifier B was contested by eight teams that advanced from their Regional Finals, were eliminated in the first round of the 2021 ICC Men's T20 World Cup, or were one of the highest ranked sides not already qualified to this stage. The eight teams were placed in two groups, with two sides from each group advancing to the semi-finals. The two teams that reached the final of the Global Qualifier advanced to the 2022 ICC Men's T20 World Cup in Australia.

The 2020 Luxembourg T20I Trophy was a Twenty20 International (T20I) cricket tournament that was played in Luxembourg from 28 to 30 August 2020. The participating teams were the hosts Luxembourg, along with Belgium and Czech Republic. The matches were played at the Pierre Werner Cricket Ground in Walferdange. These were the first official T20I matches to be played in Luxembourg since the International Cricket Council announced that all matches played between Associate Members from 1 January 2019 would be eligible for T20I status. The series was organised to provide players with some international cricket after the postponement of the 2019 T20 World Cup Europe Qualifier. Belgium won the series with a game to spare, ending with a perfect record of four victories.

The 2022–23 ICC Men's T20 World Cup Africa Qualifier was a Twenty20 International (T20I) cricket tournament, which was played as part of qualification process for the 2024 ICC Men's T20 World Cup.

The 2023 ICC Men's T20 World Cup Americas Qualifier was a cricket tournament that formed part of the qualification process for the 2024 ICC Men's T20 World Cup. The first stage of the qualification pathway in the Americas region was the sub-regional qualifier, played in Argentina between 25 February and 4 March 2023. The top three teams in the sub-regional qualifier progressed to the Americas regional final, which was played in Bermuda between 30 September and 7 October 2023, where they were joined by Canada, who competed in the 2022 ICC Men's T20 World Cup Global Qualifier A in Oman. The winner of the Americas Regional Final qualified for the 2024 ICC Men's T20 World Cup. The West Indies and the United States, qualified for the World Cup as hosts.

The Rwandan men's cricket team toured Tanzania in October and November 2022 to play a five-match Twenty20 International (T20I) series and a 50-over match against the hosts Tanzania. The series was part of both teams' preparation before they participated in the 2022–23 ICC Men's T20 World Cup Africa Qualifier in Rwanda later in November. Tanzania, captained by Abhik Patwa, won the five-match series 5-0, securing victory in each of the matches with ease.
