Bahati Keneth Ndingo (born August 7,1985),is a Tanzanian politician presently serves as a Chama Cha Mapinduzi's Member of Parliament for Mbarali Constituency since September 2023. [1] [2] She was national assembly member woman representative under special seats from 2015 to 2023. [3]
Tanzania,officially the United Republic of Tanzania,is a country in East Africa within the African Great Lakes region. It is bordered by Uganda to the northwest;Kenya to the northeast;the Indian Ocean to the east;Mozambique and Malawi to the south;Zambia to the southwest;and Rwanda,Burundi,and the Democratic Republic of the Congo to the west. The politics of Tanzania takes place in a framework of a unitary presidential democratic republic,whereby the President of Tanzania is both head of state and head of government,and of a multi-party system. Executive power is exercised by the government. Legislative power is vested in both the government and parliament. The party system is dominated by the Chama Cha Mapinduzi. The Judiciary is independent of the executive and the legislature.
Elections in Tanzania occur on both the local and national levels. The local government holds elections for street or village chair people. General elections at the national level elect the President and the members of the National Assembly. The president is elected for a five-year term.
Mbeya is a city located in south west Tanzania,Africa,with an urban population of 649,000 in 2023. Mbeya is the capital of the surrounding rural Mbeya region.
Mbeya Region is one of Tanzania's 31 administrative regions. The region covers an area of 35,954 km2 (13,882 sq mi). The region is comparable in size to the combined land area of the nation state of Guinea Bissau. Mbeya Region is bordered to the east by Singida Region,Iringa Region and Njombe Region. The region is bordered to the south by Malawi and Lake Nyasa. To the north the region borders southern Tabora Region. Lastly,Mbeya is bordered to the west by Songwe Region. The regional capital is the city of Mbeya. According to the 2022 national census,the region had a population of 2,343,754.
Mbarali District is one of the five districts of Mbeya Region,Tanzania. It is bordered to the north by Iringa region and east by Njombe region. To the south the district is bordered by Mbeya District and to the west by Chunya District.
The National Assembly of Tanzania and the President of the United Republic of Tanzania make up the Parliament of Tanzania. The current Speaker of the National Assembly is Tulia Ackson,who presides over a unicameral assembly of 393 members.
Bahati Ali Abeid is a Member of Parliament in the National Assembly of Tanzania. She is a member of the ruling Chama Cha Mapinduzi party and was its UWT Regional Secretary from 2002 to 2003. From 1995 to 2000 she was the Ward Secretary for the Organization of Women in Tanzania.

After 2015,the Nzega constituency was split,and as a result,he took over as a member of parliament for the newly formed Nzega Rural following the 2015 general elections.

On the 27th October 2023,she was elected the President of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) through the meeting convened at Luanda Angola where she passed other contestants by a great margin.
